Shure by Gator Premium Low-Profile Desktop Mic Boom Stand; Fully Adjustable for Podcast, Streaming, and Home Office Setups (SH-BROADCAST2)

This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a stand for a mic, but one that can fit under my monitor but also have enough height to swing out over some of my other accessories when I need to use the mic. This fits that bill perfectly.I was surprised by the weight of the arm when it was delivered. The pictures on Amazon had me thinking it would be plastic, but it's made of sturdy metal. It has metal plates that you can pull off to reveal a place to run your XLR cable through with some thoughtful placement for the holes. Very clean aesthetically.

I've tried other cheaper arms and they end up drooping down after an hour or two.I have a Rode NT1 5th Gen mic with the shock mount and pop filter on the end of this stand.(Pretty heavy setup)Once Tightened out, I haven't had it droop down at all.I do pivot the mic out of the way daily and pivot it back in front of me when I need and it's a smooth pivot without dropping the mic.It does come with a screw in mount and a clamp style mount.I use the clamp style and it works great on my desk.

3/18/25All I can say is that I am a HUGE FAN of this boom, mic arm. It is nice and clean, moves with such ease - no GLIDES! It gives my desk the clean look I wanted to maintain versus the standard swing arms that are super clunky. I like the added attention to detail with having a nice magnetic bar that pops right off to hide the cord from the mic instead of those cumbersome plastic cap covers.I had debated on whether to purchase this item or not, seriously who spends that much for such a basic item...it was more than worth it! It is a natural fit for my SHURE mic as well. I could not be more pleased unless the stand was given to me for free! (Laughing)Go ahead and make yourself happy as well. You deserve something that is as nice as this that keeps your desk clutter free and allows you to move the mic easily into the position you desire.

Unfortunately not sturdy enough to hold mic. the connections are to weak to withstand the MV7+ weight which always crumble to the desk.The materials are great but execution completely lacks... wasted my money here :(

This product is well bit and durable and great for the MV7X. However, if youre looking to hold your SM7B it will not. It will slowly start to fall forward. It will happen no matter how much you tighten it.

This "low profile" boom stand works extremely well with the Shure SM7 microphone. It's easy to move and it stays put. The cable is hidden under a magnetized cover so doesn't trail over the desktop. The mike holder needed adjustment so that the SM7 was the right side up, which proved tricky until, after all else failed, I read the instructions.

Looks cool but it can’t hold the weight of a SM7. Continually droops.

Let's just say you get what you pay for. This cost twice as much that is the third one I bought in the first one that gives you complete control and complete stability. It's made of better material and it works great. If you could afford it this is the best choice for a desktop mount for a microphone
