Easy to get refill material to make lots of castles!
This kit is so fun! I was a little nervous because I've never worked with Plaster of Paris before, but they made it easy. There are four pouches of the powder, and it comes with a little measuring cup to help you give it the exact amount of water that you need. Then you mix it in the bag and pour it in the mold. One bag is the exact amount you need to fill all of the slots.Tip: Fill in the cavities that have the windows first. I was left at the end with too little in one of the window pieces, so I scraped from plaster I had overfilled in the other spots to fill it in. But it was delicate and that window has a tiny break. The other cavities without windows are far more forgiving. The scraper I used is included in the kit.I was really impressed with the whole process. At first I wondered if the mold was going to be too thin, but it's not. Taking out the pieces with the windows is a delicate process, but the windows held firm with the exception of the one I underfilled. And how cool are they? So many tiny details. The kids were really excited about them. It was actually my 10-year-old boy that was most excited about the prospect of making a castle. He is the one who painted the castle pieces. My girls painted the unicorns, but then they found out that they glow in the dark and were annoyed at me for not telling them and they proceeded to do their best to get all the paint off. Oops, haha. The markers are fine, but the green one was starting to give out after the painting done in the picture. I really like working with acrylic markers, and I was impressed that it came with them at all. Often we get craft kits that come with those little paints in tiny wells that are hard for little kids to open and close, and once I discovered acrylic markers, it has become my go-to when working with younger children. They are less messy and easier to do tiny details with, which is exactly what you want with these tiny little castle pieces.Overall I am very pleased with the kit and I definitely recommend it. What a fun homeschooling project! And I can use the mold again and again so all of my kids can have a turn making one, and they can expand on their creations if they wish.Doing this activity has gotten me excited about doing more with plaster of Paris. I have more silicone molds I want to try out now, and plaster is relatively cheap at the local hardware store. It's a great introduction to this art medium.

Super Cool DIY!
My kids range in age from 3 to 9 and I can definitely say that there were parts for each of them to enjoy. My kids loved that they got to assemble the castle from start to finish (although they did have a little hiccup with the first set of clay). My 3 year old especially loved the fact that she could draw on the unicorns the most because the other stuff was a little too mature for her. What I recommend for parents is to place something down on the space that your kids use for this craft so that it becomes an easier cleanup because this craft can truly get messy.

Creative and Engaging Activity
This Glow in The Dark Castle Kit with LED Lights was a fantastic project I did with my daugther. We had so much fun making the castle walls with the gypsum powder and water. I like that this powder is non-toxic and safe for kids. The kit comes with clear instructions, it was easy for my daugther to follow. It takes time to dry and set. This is a great kit that allowed my daughter to build and decorate her own castle. It is a great hands-on activity that sparks imagination, creativity, patience, and problem-solving skills.

Fun activity
We got this to keep my daughter busy as she used some parts of the house as her canvas. We wanted to give this a try to keep her from coloring the house. Although the thought is simple, it does require an adult's assistance. You need to measure, easy instructions to follow. Supply is more than sufficient to color the castles. I did like the quality of the product. Although this lacks the child's creativity, it is still a great item as she did like to color the castles. Like all toys, she did play with these but then eventually did lost interest. Guess this was only good for a short time. I would recommend but just keep in mind that it will be for a short time.

Great idea
I found this to be such a cute project for a group of kids on a rainy day. The plaster didn't take that long to dry so we could complete it in one day. I like the fact that the mold is reusable too. I thought it was at a decent price point and with your imagination, you can make several different projects.

Everything needed is included!
Provides everything you'll need, it's all included - even 2 gloves. The unicorns are what glow in the dark, it been a debate in the household for almost a week now. Even got locked in the closet for trying to prove so, dont let anyone fool you, not even your own kids! This little kit brings huge laughs, tons of fun, and enjoyment. Great gift option for our 7 year old. Easy to design and put together, everything went smoothly. The marker colors are quite distinguished and we loved the acrylic markers.

Fun but frustrating
We had a lot of fun putting this together. This was my first time working with this material and there's definitely a learning curve to it. I also think it would have been easier to get the pieces out of the mold if they didn't have such tiny windows and if the molds were just a little deeper. That said, the material set quickly (about 30 minutes) and kids had fun putting the pieces together and decorating them. They glued together easily and stayed together well once the glue dried.

Great Set
What a great gift for kids it's not only a fun craft but then transitions into a toy they can continue to have fun with. It comes with everything you need to make the castles and decorate them, then the mat to put them on, the unicorn figures and lights. The molds are a silicon and it's simple Plaster of Paris to make the castles so you can continue to reuse the molds to make more if you just get some more of the plaster powder. Once the castles are done they can use the included markers to decorate them as they want. While it is lots of fun and lets them use their imagination, it can be a little tricky getting it mixed and in the mold and everything level to set right not to mention rather messy so an adult or older child will want to help them out with it but it's a great learning experience for them.
