Perfect Gift For Anyone From Acton
Bought as a gift for my Dad who was born and brought up in Acton (born there in 1943) and he LOVED it. Really great quality product, full of pictures and details about the history of Acton... really is the perfect gift for anyone hailing from the area before it became the standard 'metropolis' type area that most of Greater London now is. Brought back a lot of fond memories for my dad and I should think it'd do the same for anyone born/brought up there at any time before the 90s (purely as those people are probably a bit too young to appreciate days gone by just yet).

Very interesting
Very interesting read, particularly as I was brought up in Acton. It's sad in a way to read how lovely and rural Acton once was, compared to how it is now. I think anyone with a connection with Acton would enjoy this book.

A useful addition to anyones shelf when researching Acton W3. This book has more information than other books i have read while researching my birth place. I managed to get this hardback in very good condition for a couple of pounds.
