The quality of your product was excellent, however
I probably confused you with the five stars. The quality of your product was excellent,however, the reason I returned was because I am 87 and the product was too heavy for me to manage. Like almost impossible to reach and put it in the microwave. I purchased another about half the weight and it is working fine.

Burnt smell if over cooked
Admittedly I slowly increase the temperature to find how hot I can make the heating and still touch it, I like it hot! But at some point it reaches a temperature where it breaks down the natural filler, and smells burnt. It’s not actually burned because it hasn’t caught on fire, but it probably is over cooked. Once it get that smell it never goes away wv3n if you heat it at a lower temp.I’ve bought a lot of heating pads over the years and I’m going back to a non-organic filler.If you like your heating pads hot, like I do, you might want to avoid these natural, organic pads filled with organic matter. I won’t buy another.

Great for Short Term Relief of Arthritis Pain
My Physical Therapist recommended that I use heat on my upper back and neck 3 times a day to help relieve pain from arthritis and resulting nerve pain. I looked at several kinds of heat pads including electrical as well as this type and after reading reviews, chose the MK double sided microwaveable pad. Both my husband and I use it daily and have found that it so so comfortable, warm and soft. It relieves the pain for perhaps a couple of hours after use. It stays comfortably warm for 15 to 20 minutes. We’ve had no issues with heating it in the microwave. I put it on a clean plate and hit 2 minutes. It’s even nice when you come in from outside and have a chill. Recommend.

Perfectly designed for neck, shoulders and upper back
Good product for the money. It would be nice if it retained heat longer, like other brands I own. I find that I have to reheat it more frequently than I’d like to. The design of it and it’s ability to comfortably wrap around your neck and up the back your head (if you want it to) and flexibility in its use make this a really great product. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. I’d gladly pay more if they’d use a higher quality heat-retaining compound in it.

Heat up fast
Cover shoulders and neck well, heat up fast but does not stay hot very longExcellent product for the price

35$ literally UP IN SMOKE
It was very soft and comforting. But I only used it about 10 times. then this morning I heated it for 90 seconds. When I opened the microwave it was full of very toxic smelling smoke, there were two black holes that had burned through, and all the black filling was pouring all over the floor when I tried to lift it out of the microwave. IT was about to catch fire, but I put it in the sink and ran cold water over it. The black filling on the floor was smoking and about to start a fire.I'm trying to find out if there is a warranty or something. $35 up in smoke.

Filling shifts toward the bottom
The filling that heats up falls towards the bottom so I’m not getting the heat where I want it the most.

Wonderful Warmth
Love this Octopus (my name) pillow for my neck. Really helped w/pain. Only reason it is not a 5 is that I haven't figured out how to use it so it's comfortable. Kept having to move it around to feel the warmth. Figure that will get better as I word w/it more. Great product!
