Fast, Reliable WiFi Coverage Throughout the House
This TP-Link Deco router has been a fantastic upgrade for our home network. Setup was quick and straightforward, and within minutes we had fast, reliable WiFi throughout the house. The coverage is excellent, with a strong signal even in rooms that used to have weak or spotty WiFi. Streaming, video calls, online gaming, and connecting multiple smart devices all work smoothly without interruptions. I also appreciate the clean, compact design,it blends in nicely without taking up much space. The connection has been stable, and we've noticed faster speeds and fewer dropped connections since installing it. If you're looking for an easy-to-set-up mesh router with excellent coverage and reliable performance, I highly recommend this one. It has made a noticeable difference in our home's WiFi!

High quality, reliable mesh system
Choosing, and setting up, a home mesh wi-fi system can be challenging. I bought two of these after researching best brands (previously had Netgear and when they had problems, it was so tough to resolve). I've been quite happy with these. One upstairs and one downstairs in a 3100 square foot home has provided excellent coverage throughout the home. The DECO app is really well designed, and shows exactly the status of the two routers. It helps set them up, too. Someone recently said the Amazon eero mesh system was the best way to go, so I checked again and found that these DECO TP-Link devices are superior. One of the reasons is that they include built-in features that Eero charges $10 a month for.

Easy set-up and fast speeds!
I've had this mesh system for about a month and I'm very happy with it. It was really easy to set up and the speeds I'm getting are a huge improvement over my previous mesh system, which also a TP-Link mesh system that served me well for 8 years. Highly recommend.

Good mesh router
We have a cabana that I bought the outdoor TP-Link for and I guess I got a lemon because it was almost useless in less than a year. I wanted to stick with this line so I bought this one (way cheaper than the outdoor one). It is a pretty large covered cabana so I guess getting an outdoor one was not that necessary so I got this indoor one to link up with my other Deco's. So far it has worked flawlessly and we get a really good signal in the cabana. We have a TV out there as well as streaming music devices and everything works well.

I just upgraded to a Mesh system for a couple weeks and It is working as indicated. Ask me again in a couple months after I have used it more and learned all the functionality it offers.

Skip these. Problems from day one.
Here's my experience. Pros: Good range, Small and doesn't use much space, dual band, has IOT network for cameras and such, quick reset process. The Cons: The plug for item stopped working after 3 days. Setup was sifty. It will fail most of the time and then work FINALLY. The UI (User Interface) is garbage. Fair warning there is no individual bands nor anyway to split them. Meaning 2G and 5G are combined. You can disable one or the other and even both. While on that topic. If you disable your 2G band then your guest and IOT 2G bands automatically disable also. 🤦♂️ Same for 5G bands. These decos will only create a mesh network with other decos. If you have any tp link archer routers and wanted to add this to the archer mesh network it will not work nor is it compatible. Deco routers work with deco routers only. Archer routers work with other archer routers when creating a mesh network. No interoperability.

The signal isn't as good as I expected
The signal isn't as good as I expected especially on rainy days. Even just one room away, the signal can still be pretty weak sometimes.

Recommend the small size router
Ease to setup, for weeks using, feeling reliable and fast. Signal most of time is strong and stable. And it not big size, not take big space at my table, white and good looking. I bought at Labor Day, got great price.

Excelente

Recomendado ampliamente.

Doed not work well with Deco M5 but works with Deco X50
1- installation is easy with the app 2- works well with existing Deco X50. 3- Deco M5 pods had weak signal and unstable performance. 4- Unlike days of M5 tplink used to give free anti-virus protection not anymore. 7- excellent signal strength, neatly 860 mbps via wireless connection which is definitely faster than X50 (750 to 780 mbps). 8- from the look, feel, and weight of pod it definitely heavier and better built than M5, M9 Plus, and X50. 9- Network Optimization needs to be automated or automatically or autonomously done instead of doing it manually if there were interference. 10- TP Link needs to offer antivirus for free like M5 not for $180 per year which is more expensive than the pod itself!
