Love this pitcher! The glass is thin and lightweight, but so far, so good - no breaks or chips after months of use. I am careful, though. :-) It's slim size fits wonderfully in the fridge, yet holds 2 quarts. I bought a square one and a round one so I could have different flavors of tea. It is easier to clean the round one, as this one has corners. The pour is great, as is the silicon lined lid. If you're only buying one, though, I'd buy the round one as it is easier to clean. I love that you can get this clean... I always wondered with my plastic pitchers. This is not much heavier than a plastic one. It is lighter weight than you'd thing, and easy to use.

Great shape and size. The lid fits securely and pours in an odd stream or as a strained drink, but the glass handle feels a bit delicate for the heavy pitcher when full. Washes beautifully by hand (dishwasher safe) and is quite attractive. I use it for cold brewing ice tea, and it makes a nice, clean beverage. The only improvements might be a heavier handle and a better pouring stream, but that's me being nit-picky.

I realize, like most people, I have always stored my milk in the fridge doors. I notice once in a while that the milk goes sour. I was blaming the supermarket. Recently, I read an article that said milk should be stored at the back of the fridge and storing in the door the worst place to store. As the door is opened, this area ends up by being the warmest part of the fridge. So I am happy to find these two square jugs. They are perfect. And being able to see how much milk is left versus the original container is so much betterr. The handle is well placed and a full jug is easy to move in and out of the fridge.

I don't have high expectations for the price, but it is a bit worse than I expected.The glass is very thin, it is extremely light. I haven't broken it, but I am constantly concerned about it.It isn't flat on the bottom, it rocks.Aside from those things, it's good. The capacity is correct, the size and shape are extremely convenient for fridge doors. It looks great. I poured boiling hot coffee into it on a quartz counter to see if it was true borosilicate, and properly tempered, it passed the test with flying colors.If it sat flat, I would give it 4 stars. If it sat flat, and was about twice the thickness, it would be 5.
