We recieved one of these as a gift from our baby registry as well as some of the reusable liners. We use mostly cloth diapers for our little one, so we wanted something other than a small wet bag to keep them in between washes. This pail has been great! It keeps the smell in great and only smells when you have the lid and internal swing door open. It also has a lock feature which I'm sure will come in handy when our baby is older so that little ones can't get into the pail and make a mess. We like that it has a foot pedal as our hands are often busy with tending to the baby and the pail keeps the smell contained fine enough. The only downside for us is we had to purchase a second one since we opted to use disposable wipes. So we have one pail for the cloth diapers and one pail for the disposable wipes. With just wipes going into the one, the bag inserts do last a long time.

My main qualm is the price of this but I wasn’t able to find one second hand so I bit the bullet and it does work. We use the cloth liners for our cloth diapers and this pail seals in the smell until washing day. I wish it was even larger so we could wash less frequently but it fills up within 4 days.

Had this for about a year. Everything works as it does but man this thing emits odor pretty bad.

I hate walking into my kids room and smelling dirty diapers. I am extremely sensitive to smells and needed a diaper pail that would contain them. I had the original size when I had my oldest a it did the job well, so now with 2 under 2 we needed a larger pail and I knew exactly which one I was getting. Worth every penny!!! Using disposable diapers it takes DAYS for the pail to get full. I usually end up changing the bag before the pail is full because it can only go about 2-3 days before it starts smelling. So capacity for disposable diapers is almost too much. We do, however, usually do cloth diapers and are only using disposables during this adjustment period, so when we switch back to cloth, I will update on how long it takes to fill (as they are a bit bulkier). I posted pics of the size comparison from the original because that was a big thing for me when I went to purchase this. It is quite a bit bigger and wider than the original size. Great diaper pail, the lock feature to keep my toddler out of it is great. It seems durable and if it’s still made with the same quality as my last one - I got that second hand (it’s 5 years old) and I’m still using it to this day - it’s going to last a long time. So why four stars? The trash bag compartment, the front part that you open to take out the trash, can be difficult to close. It often seems as though I’ve closed it only to find it has popped open later on in the day, thus letting the smell of dirty diapers fill the room. You have to be very intentional about closing it tight and making sure it has clicked into place. This sounds simple enough, but when you have a very busy house, it’s something that is easily missed and can feel frustrating. Other than that, no complaints.

We purchased the diaper genie originally but ultimately selected this one as with the diaper dekor plus, you are able to fully access the inside of the pail for a deep clean. You cannot do that easily with the diaper genie. This plus size pail fits 1-1.5 days of diapers.

Really cheap. The unit diesnt close properly. The bags are too difficult for Mom to change and $60 per box proprietary bags are required. Waste of money. Very disappointed.

we have used one of these for about 9 years for adult diapers. This purchase was to replace the old one which finally had odors embedded in it after using for so many years. However, most people use these for baby diapers, and will keep it around as long as we do. I love how easy it is to empty and replace the bag. I like how the dekor PLUS it is larger than the regular version. I like how it traps odors well. It blend in with the bathroom well

Way better than a normal trash can

agréablement surprise, bien que non mentionné, il y avait une recharge de sac incluse et déjà installée dans la poubelle. aucune odeur désagréable dans la pièce, vous déposer la couche sur le carré et celle-ci glisse dans la poubelle, rien a pousser. Les instructions pour le remplacement du sac sont bien visible à l'intérieur de la porte. Par précaution j'ajoute du bicarbonate de soude dans le sac. Remplacer le sac est un jeu d'enfant, tellement plaisant de ne plus être en contact avec les déchets. Avoir su, je me la serai procurée bien avant. Le prix est très compétitif aussi. Pour 2 à 3 couches adultes et 4 tampons adultes en moyenne par jour , je remplace le sac aux 3- 4 jours.
