The media could not be loaded. I bought this carrier in spite of some of the bad reviews because I figured, my dog is only 5-6 pounds, surely this bag will not break--WRONG! On only my 2nd day of use, I took a 10 min walk to the dog groomers with my precious toy yorkie inside of it. She loves being carried in these types of bags, as opposed to walking, as it makes her feel secured. On my way back home, the loop, which holds the strap totally ripped, without a warning, making the carrier fall flat on the ground, with my yorkie inside. She fell so hard, that it not only scared her, but also me, & made me feel so bad, that I petted & massaged her all the way back home to make her feel at ease. I immediately asked myself why didn't I listen to the reviewers? So now, I no longer carry my dog in this, but rather, keep it on the floor for her to use, in case she just wants to sleep in it, which is rarely, if ever.People, please, please, please (in my James Brown voice), do not buy!

This is a great carrier. I use it for my cats in the car. Gives them lots of room to spread out for a 1.5 hr ride.Plus they can see what's going on and they can see each other. There's a lot of zippers, takes a while to figure it out, but all good.Only drawbacks are:- The opening to put the cats in/out is small esp if you are used to a hard sided crate. Much smaller in general.- Once the sides are open, it's a bit wonky to move once pets are in it.- Would be great to have a zipper pocket on the OUTSIDE for my personal belongings.

I read the reviews and warnings about not buying this carrier if your dog likes to chew or tear things up. He is 6 years old and has never chewed on anything, but treats, or tore anything since he was a puppy, so I went ahead and bought it. Received about 3 days before our trip so for 3 nights I put him in it for about two hours, with some treats, and he just chewed on the treat and then laid quietly. While on vacation, we put him in the carrier and went to a museum but when we returned he was out of the carrier and had torn the "screen" part of the carrier door and got out. I really liked the carrier, easy to transport and was as described but my dog is pretty lazy and gives up easy if something is too hard, so I doubt he worked very hard to tear the screen door to get out. Seems with all the complaints about this problem the maker would provide some reinforcement in this area Even if your dog is not a chewer or tears things up beware.

I bought one of these a year or two ago for our elderly cat. She hated her plastic carrier, but she was relaxed and happy in this one. Recently we adopted 2 kittens so I decided to purchase a second carrier, exactly the same and again, the kitties love it. It arrived right on time and I left it outside the box on our floor so they could explore it, which they did. I have never had a problem with this carrier, unlike the plastic kind, and it is really well-made, and looks quite cozy. A really smart purchase!

Good size and decent quality, but zippers aren't ideal - they split easily. Would be better with a mat that extends to cover at least one of the zippered partitions as well as the main body. Cats love it and spend time in it even when not using it for traveling or vet visits.
