Much better than a traditional piggy bank
The Piggy Box is so cool! A lot of detail went into it. Here's why I give it 5 stars:- First of all, this thing is well-built and heavier than I expected--definitely not a flimsy cardboard box. It's weighty like a real treasure chest.- There are 3 drawers to separate into Spend, Save, and Give. Always nice to start thinking about that from the moment a child gets money.- It holds BILLS! So many piggy banks really only handle coins. It's 2017--kids get dollar bills these days.- Each drawer is sized just right for sorting different coins and bills. This is great for young children.- The front "lid" swings open and stays shut with a magnet. So it's easy to open and see what's inside, as opposed to a traditional piggy bank, which doesn't even hold bills. At the same time, it stays shut when you want it to.- The two points above bring me to my next point: a child can easily see what he or she has. Most, if not all, piggy banks make a child put their money into this black hole where you have no idea what's in there unless you open the whole thing. I suppose that's nice for an occasional surprise, but it's much better for financial literacy to have an understanding of what you have and to manage the money.- There's a place to personalize the box with your child's name.- There are four felt pads on the bottom of the box. This raises the box ever so slightly so the front lid swings open easily, and also protects the bottom of the box from wear and tear if your child likes to slide it around.- There's an app to keep track of what's in the box. I'm not sure we'll use it, but theoretically it would be nice to know how much is in it when we're out and about, so if he sees something he wants to buy with his own money, we can check if he can afford it as is likely not carrying cash on him. It's more expensive than other piggy banks, but I think it's worth what you get out of it, especially when you consider that it's more than just a place to store cash, but an educational tool.

Worth the price.
I wasn’t sure because of the $30 price tag but it had exactly what I wanted in a kid bank so I took a chance. This thing rocks! It just looks like room decor so it’s not obvious to visitors. It comes with an app my kids love to use to track their money. It’s way bigger than I expected so double check measurements for space. It’s thick sturdy/heavy duty cardboard. This has opened my kids excitement for giving/saving instead of wandering aimlessly with her money on not so great choices. The app has kids pick a pin# to access their bank, parents get a master setting to see all kids accounts. It’s awesome!

Great starter save, share and spend bank for kids
This is a cardboard (very nice one though) save share and spend piggy bank. It provides coin slots and a large area for dollar bills. My $5 loves his and it serves the purpose of him learning the save, share and spend idea with his allowance. It’s not super sturdy but as long as the kid doesn’t smash it or stand in it it will last for as long as necessary.

Great money learning tool!
I was looking for something for my childrent that helped them learn the value of saving, spending and tithing to God - this box did that for me in a compact way! I am very very happy with this purchase! My two oldest kids have one and can now learn the value of money. And the free app that goes with it is so great to help them keep track of how much they have in each box!

Money
This bank is really awesome. I have to my 7 year old son for a Christmas gift. I was glad I read a review that it is made of cardboard so I was prepared and like that review said- it’s really nice quality. The three drawers are a such a great idea. He absolutely loved it and I will be buying one for my 7 year old nephew.

Great teachings and saving tool
Much sturdier than I expected. Love that it teaches good money habits AND my Little’s can learn currency values at same time.

Great for my 4 year old!
Very sturdy! Fun for my 4 year old to start learning about money! A little heavier than I expected, but not unreasonable. I love the compartments for sorting change! Very well done!

The grandkids love The Piggy Box
This is my 3rd purchase. The kids and parents love it. Cute designs, for the 13 year old I bought the white castle she customized it by decorating/painting it she also put decals on it. Parents love it because it teaches the kids financial basics.
