Alpine UTE-73BT Mech-Less Digital Media Receiver with Bluetooth® Wireless Technology

I had a double Din stereo 2 years ago ($350). It didn't last and it wouldn't connect to my phone. Although it had many options there was no point if it wouldn't connect. These days our phones keep moving forward and our head units become obsolete within a year or two. It's no one's fault because they are two different entities. This time I went back to a single Din willing to "downgrade". The only thing I lost was the backup camera feature and having an equilizer with more options for the sound. For the price I paid I got a better sound from this unit and I would recommend it. My first stereo was an Alpine when I was 18 I am 33 now and I am not disappointed. I don't know why I swayed from them. I've had 3 stereos with this one and the first 2 are still working as hand me downs. As much as I love Bluetooth and hands free calling I am going hardwire. The Bluetooth is not cutting it for high quality. I've researched a bit and if you want that hi-fi sound you will be spending $600+ and I am ok with that. I'll use my speaker on my phone. When I used the BT in call feature it was clear and my cousin said he could hear everything. Alpine advertises it is a clear sound and I agree. It could be where I placed it. But either way we are in a good time because the developers are now understanding our needs at every $level$. I love this head unit and can't knock any stars off of it.

Great Bluetooth deck for the price!

I enjoy this stereo, ive bought a few of these thats how much i like them. The quality is great, the screen is bright and legible. Navigation was slightly a nuisance but you get used to it. Simple features, and adequate sound quality, definitely will purchase again

Very good receiver. Bought this to replace the old radio I had. It fits great in the dash of my truck. Bluetooth hands free works great and the sound quality is great.

Tuve un Alpine CD-100 y creí que la calidad de audio era inmejorable. Me equivoqué: este modelo le supera.

When I first installed it, it would not power up. After consulting with the seller, I reinstalled it, and it worked flawlessly. The hiccup is still a mystery. The sound is great and it linked up to my phone via Bluetooth in just a few seconds. There is a reason why it's rated so highly - it's very good. The only downside is that even though it hooks up to the car's lighting dimmer switch, the display does not dim when you dim the dashboard lights. It does dim when you turn on the headlights, though. If you are looking for a car stereo without a CD player, this is a great unit at a reasonable price. I would purchase another one if I needed it.

I've had this for about a year now, it has been flawless. It was affordable, and Alpine quality is still there. Lots of power, good clean sound, easy operation and most important of all, it's not glitchy. Bluetooth works well too! I'm very happy with this purchase.

Alpine UTE-73BT jamas había tenido un alpine, y por el precio de 1800 a 2000 que encontré nuevo, decidí adquirirlo, de pionner económicos (1,100 a 1, 300 pesos mexicanos) que había tenido, duraron solo un par de años, la primera impresión al sacar el autoestereo de la caja, se noto claramente la calidad de los botones y materiales. La segunda impresión fue el sonido de las bocinas, claramente se escuchaba más fuerte y nitido los sonidos que en mi anterior estereo. Incluso diría que hasta el subwoofer se noto un pequeño cambio en sus vibraciones. Fue un cambio excelente. En cuestión del Bluetooth no he tenido problemas para que se conecte, yo lo conecte los dos cables de positivo directos a la batería, No que se prendiera al girar la llave del carro. A veces solo tengo que entrar al celular y poner en Bluetooth que se conecte al estereo, solo cuando apenas entro al carro y tengo que hacer una llamada inmediatamente o poner música. El único problema que yo le pongo, es que si desconectas el autoestereo de la batería, todos los cambios que hiciste no se guardan. Que en pioner por más días sin estar conectado se queda con la configuración que tenia. Por el precio y calidad mas no se durabilidad aun solo tengo 2 meses con el. 9.5 de 10

Gran calidad de audio. Es una pieza muy importante e indispensable en el automóvil por sus múltiples opciones de audio, divertido, cómodo y agradable a la vista. Same Alpine quality with the regular options on subwoofer control which I was looking for good Bluetooth connectivity and aux so far so good this brand has never let me down
