WALI Laptop Wall Mount for 17" Notebook and Up to 32" Screen

This is a really nice laptop mount and has been working great for me. It feels sturdy, adjusts easily, and gets my laptop up and off the desk, which frees up a good amount of space. Installation was pretty straightforward too. My only minor gripe is that one of the plastic end pieces that tightens the laptop platform is a little loose. Other than that very happy with it.

**update 2026** Okay I've just upgraded this mount so let me update my review. I am keeping 5 stars because for an entry level budget mount it did its job. Here's why I changed: if your desk is not solid wood, the base of the mount is too narrow and will start to sink in. Also, after a few years one of the arm started to sag. I upgraded for a mount double this price so not outrageous but the base is wider and the arms are sturdier. I am still happy I purchased that one because for my budget it did the job so these years and it's better than not having it. Still recommend if your budget is low and you need to save desk space, it's a great starter. If you can wait and save twice this, I suggest you do and skip to the better ones though. **original review 2020** Been using this mount for about 3 months, time to review: It is an absolute game changer! Cheap, easy to assemble and install, feels sturdy. At first my wife was skeptical because she thought it would be a gimmick but it frees up so much space, it brings both monitors to the same eye-level height, the mouse cable never gets stuck under the laptop anymore, and it holds the cables in place so that when she has to run with the laptop they don't fall behind the desk anymore (see picture). All these little details improved her productivity. And just visually it looks much better I think. Laptop: 15" Monitor: 24"

UPDATED: This mount was way sturdier/heavier than I expected. It's all steel and it's probably a little heavier than the weight of the monitor stand it replaced (added weight of the laptop tray). There are two arms, and one is longer than the other. This is my work from home setup and I don't use the laptop keyboard, just the screen to keep one eye on Slack. I chose to put the laptop tray on the shorter arm because I wanted it a little off the left side of the desk. The mounting pole Installed easily in the grommet hole of my desk and the plate includes 2 cable slots that would easily fit two power cords, but you have to thread them through before you bolt the whole thing down. The first unit I received had a defective mounting bracket on the short arm, which made my laptop tilt noticeably to one side ( you can see it in my pic and at first i thought it was the VESA plate that was bad). One of tiny screws for the laptop tray, and one of the cap nuts were defective, too. It's unfortunate that an otherwise great product had quality control issues but Amazon sent me a replacement and it solved the problem (the short arm and the screws were fine). The one drawback of putting my laptop on the mount is that my Mac's USB-C docking station's ridiculously short hard wired cord posed some challenges. I solved that by using a 3M picture hanging strip to stick it to the back edge of the laptop plate, behind the laptop. It works for me because I do very little cable swapping and rarely use SD cards/flash drives, but that wouldn't be practical for everyone. Overall, i'm happy with this solution. The mounted monitor lines up nicely with the second one that's still on the stand, and I'm toying with the idea getting a second one for the other side for my secondary laptop.

This thing is awesome. Thought it was broke when I first got it cause my laptop kept "falling", aka the arm didn't seem heavy enough. But I was twisting the screw the wrong way:) took a bit to set up, but definitely worth it. The cord organizer is a nice bonus too.

Fantastic dual arm mount! Having both my laptop and monitor on the same desk mount is incredibly convenient and saves a lot of desk space. The arms are sturdy, fully adjustable, and hold the weight well. Installation was straightforward. Great setup for dual workstation.

I have several of these desk mounts. The issue I have with this model is that it shakes up and down more than others when using it. Another functionality issue is that it doesn't tilt left/right to keep the computer level when using it at odd angles. Overall build quality appears to be solid. Instructions were clear and it easy easy to set up. Not a bad product at all, but its not as nice as others i've bought. (My favorite model is no longer available for some reason so i tried this product)

I have been looking for a separate monitor and laptop stand for a while now and recently came across this set up from WALI. For under $50, I was a little nervous about the quality before it arrived. I had no reason to be concerned. It is a SOLID set up. Everything is high-quality metal construction and secure when assembled. Set up took some doing but only because I am not the most, um, detailed direction follower...Make sure you tighten the tray and post screws TIGHTLY initially to prevent any kind of movement after you've assembled it (don't ask me how I know). I have a 15'' Asus laptop and the lip on the tray holds it fine as long as I don't tip it too far forward. But it's an unusually thick laptop body so I imagine most won't have an issue. Again, it's not a problem for me at all, just limits slightly the angle I can tilt the tray. If you are ok with the configuration shown in the primary product image (i.e., monitor above tray) then it will be no problem as is. My desk isn't that deep so I had wanted them to be side-by-side. I was able to set it up that way out of the box. But my monitor was just a hair too big and it cast a shadow on the laptop monitor in the side by side configuration. Support was kind enough to send me a second base post and screws so I could use the grommet and clamp bases at the same time (as is you can only use one or the other). This of course only works if you already have a hole in the desk (or are willing to put one in yourself). Many thanks to WALI's support crew for accommodating me. I use a standing desk. If movement while you type is something you're fussy about (I'm not) note there will be some shake, especially in the standing position. But for most, it should be absolutely no problem. Overall a fantastic deal. Highly recommend it!

Awesome design and quality and a fraction of the price! Very heavy duty, came with well crafted instructions. All screws, bolts, small parts, and tools (except Philips screw driver) were included - all laid out and labeled. Easy to get at and easy NOT to loose! Included all parts to allow for multiple installation options, including through a grommet hole on a solid surface without edges. Overall fit, finish and functionality exceeded my expectations and was priced at less than half of what far lesser options are selling for!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the ergonomics and space utilization of their work area. I attached mine to an older model Ergotron workstation cart so it is being used in both stand-up & sit down and it does so wonderfully! Although I have a separate keyboard tray with a full-size keyboard, the laptop holder is very sturdy and can easily be used regularly without it bouncing around as you type or rest your arms as you mouse around. The pole comes with an extension should you need it, depending on the size of your monitor or if being used as a stand-up station on a fixed height desk or table. Extremely well made! The laptop shelf would also function very well as an adjustable swing out surface for holding books, binders, or other references materials within easy sight but off the work surface. Or to hold a small light table, or even as a writing or drawing platform (with appropriate surface pad added) as it is completely tilt adjustable - unlike other products that do not tilt. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this one!
