## Description

Dell XPS 8960 Desktop Computer Tower - 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900K 24-Core Processor up to 6 GHz, 64GB DDR5 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 770, Windows 11 Pro - Graphite Black

Review: Good deal - Dell 8960 tower arrived in original Dell box. Tower was exactly as described by vendor. Good price, fast delivery.
Review: This rig does not for gamers! Check the specs to decide for yourself. 400w psu low end graphics - Be aware if you purchase from Ultra Computers. Under the main description it says “visit the Dell Store” well, the dell store isn’t selling this computer. Ultra Computers is, and I bought this, which I was under the impression by their description so I bought it and 4 hours after I had it, it wouldn’t run a simple Truck simulator game, and that is because the power supply is only 400 watts, and the onboard video adapter is low end also. Plus Ultra computer has the audacity to sell this piece for $2099 plus $125 tax. Plus if you want to return it after not even 8 hours, they charge an outrageous 30% restocking fee which they say is their policy, but it is nowhere to be found, and you know why? Because no one in their right mind would buy anything, especially an electronic component when the seller holds you up for 30% restocking fee. And as far as their video is concerned, here is an Overview of it. Intel UHD Graphics 770 (Alder Lake) GPU - Benchmarks The Intel UHD Graphics 770 is an integrated graphics processor (IGP) found in some Intel processors. It's a mainstream level GPU, suitable for BASIC tasks and some LIGHT GAMING, but not for demanding titles or high resolutions. But don’t let me persuade anyone, my review here is to inform you so you can make sure your criteria aligns with what this rig has. UPDATE! The seller Ultra Computers is charging me $630 to restock a low end piece plus $70 to ship it back. 400 watt power supply, most gaming games require at least 600 watts. I just hope I don’t get pregnant after this.

### ⭐⭐⭐ fan sounds like a jet engine
*by M***R on January 28, 2025*

I'm not sure yet about this computer. I have become accustomed to using an AIO, so the sheer size is going to take some getting used to. But what concerns me the most is that the fan comes on SO loudly so often. I am not a gamer, and I currently have my browser open and one app (Silhouette Studio) running, and the fan cycles on for several minutes, off for a few, back on, and it is so loud that it actually startles me. I have to turn up the volume of any music or tv when the fan cycles on. It was incredibly easy to set up and begin using, nothing weird or different from setting up another new computer. I like the feel of the keyboard's keys. I do not like the shape of the mouse (I prefer the erognomic feel of my logitech mouse), and it seems so weird to me that both the keyboard and mouse are wired... but I guess it'll be an easy matter to just use my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, so no big whoop.
