Q: Is the color of the bottarga supposed to be dark brown and almost black? I received my order of the 5.6oz piece but I am hesitant to try it.

Mine was also very dark and it was fine. The photo doesn’t really reflect the actual color of the product since there are natural variations.

Q: Why is this bottarga half the price of others?
