Can you keep it on overnight?

My husband just underwent a treatment called "red blue light" on his face. He had a number of spots that were skin cancers and the doctor recommended this treatment. He was prescribed ALODERMA and uses it day and night without any side affects. This stuff is the best he has ever used. Also good for burns and other skin irritations. He trusts it completely!! What is the preservative used in this and what is the shelf life?

The shelf life for this product is 3 years. We recommend using the product within 1 year after opening. However, provided that you do not use product and then put it back into the packaging and introduce microbes inside the product, it should last indefinitely. The full list of ingredients in the current product on shelf right now is: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Carbomer, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA. However, we have removed Triethanolamine from our formulation and replacing it with Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine in our products moving forward. In terms of ingredients that serve as a preservative, none are pure preservatives, however in concert, 1,2-Hexanediol would be the most preservative like and Hydroxyacetophenone, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, and Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine all support some functions of preserving the stability of the product.
