New Flat iron with ceramic anti static plates and detachable combs (white)

This is the best flat iron I have ever bought in my life, and the only one I would use on my only daughters hair. The reason I say this is the plates are titanium (a high quality, durable metal that conducts heat well, meaning you can use a lower temperature and do fewer passes). There are two removable combs ( I never could do the chase method before this, and that gives you a straighter, sleeker look). Even if you can do that chase method the combs give you perfect positioning with less work. The combs are durable, they do do not break (unlike the the steam comb I bought from Sally's that lost a tooth the first time I used it, and costed twice as much). The iron has a swivel cord that is very long. When combined with the Mazani 4 step thermasmooth system you have hair that looks like you just walked out of the salon every day. Plus it is a long lasting straight look that does not change your curls permantly, and there is less snagging and breakage.

This flat iron is just okay. The plates don’t clamp tight so it’s hard to get your hair super straight. You have to flat iron large chunks at a time to get the plates to clamp tight enough to make a difference. But then you did a large chunk, so it’s still not that flat. But I like the comb which helps people with coarse frizzy hair to not get those little frizzy bits at the end that are flat, but crimped. This iron also broke after a month of use. The power button broke, and the iron won’t turn on anymore. They said I could send it back but did not say that they would pay for return shipping as the amazon window already closed. Probably wouldn’t buy again. I think I’ll pay the money for something that is higher quality. The plastic feels cheap and the buttons are questionable.

I love this product as it works perfectly on my hair, my daughters hair, my cousin's hair and two of my girlfriends! We all have different texture hair types (I am black and my hair is kinky, my daughter has softer hair, my cousin has super thick extra course natural hair, and my girlfriends are Indian-with silky straight hair and Jewish white-curly hair). This glyder allows the user to either straighten or curl any hair texture very easily! The only thing you must do before use is watch the video on YouTube (under the glyder by heirstudios) so you can get the desired look you are looking for and attach the proper pieces. Only attach one comb at a time (the first time I used it I had two comb pieces attached). I personally love being able to have bone straight hair without chemical relaxer treatments and to get bone straight hair use it right out of the box with only one comb at the bottom. I have one myself and just bought two more as Birthday gifts for my girlfriends. I may buy a few more for Christmas gifts for my mom and Aunt. Love love love this! Thanks Essence magazine for telling me about the glyder!!!! No need to get a relaxer every 5-6 weeks!!!

Wasn’t what I expected, doesn’t do work well.

Finally! Just what I've been looking for. My prior, professional-grade flat iron (bought years ago at a salon and now discontinued) had a comb and it was *so* much easier to use than the "chase" method needed for the non-comb versions. I've purchased about a half dozen flat irons and other options (even the "on-TV" ones with the spinning barrel) and they never did the job as well. But this one is fantastic! It actually has superior features to my old favorite, as the cord swivels, you can choose which side you want the comb on, and it has variable temperatures. It does the job well and quickly, and my irregular-waves hair comes out smooth, shiny, and with plenty of movement. I've used it for several months now and am always happy with the results. Hoorah!

I've been a professional hair stylist for 30 years. This is a good quality build. I love the built in comb which is something most people would have to get used to, excellent for doing keratin smoothing treatments. I would rather have the heat setting increments closer together, like 400-410 vs 400-425 but overall I’m happy with it

1st Impression and review: package delivered promptly. Packaging could be better. Heats up fast. Nice and sturdy. Has a velcro strap to keep the cord organized. No noxious odor. I like that you can remove both combs to adjust your styling side. So far I’m loving everything about this straightener... 2nd review coming soon ;) 2nd review: I am in love! This is my DREAM straightener. It does everything I need in one single pass. The combs are ideal for a perfect style. I have been looking for a flat iron with comb just like the Conair model, which finally broke down on me after almost 12 years of use. This is BETTER!! I will buy another just for spare :D

I bought a flat iron similar to this one a while ago. I loved it so much, I bought three or four of them! However, over the years, they're getting pretty worn down and I haven't been able to find anything similar. Mine was pink by rem ing ton and it had detachable comb on it to keep my hair tangle free as I ironed it. I saw this and got so excited because it looked so similar! However, it made my hair super poofy and the combs were hard to take off with my acrylics. It actually kept tangling my hair in the combs and I just could not get my hair silky. My hair is not too hard to tame, it's just wavy. :/
