BionaOrganic White Spelt Fusilli Pasta 500g (Pack of 10)

Spelt pasta is great is you want to avoid ordinary wheat (spelt is not so 'bloating'). It can be expensive in the local stores (and even supermarkets) but buying in bulk brings down the price to a much more reasonable level. I like this brand, you treat it like ordinary pasta and it tastes just as good. I don't like the 'free from' brands that use rice flour and loads of other ingredients. Those kinds go to 'pap' if you cook it slightly longer than you meant to.

Spelt (an ancient grain) was apparently what the Romans ate as they marched across and conquered Europe.These days modern grains such as wheat can lead to bloating (not just for people allergic it gluten), and are often processed with harmful chemicals.This product however is certified organic, and more wholesome.This bulk buy item also offers a great saving compared to buying one packet at at time from a health food store. It arrives in a sturdy square large cardboard box (useful) and a pack of x10 allows for good months worth of weekday meals per person.The product cooks just like regular pasta and also has a good protein percentile.A superb product, better than any modern wheat food product on the planet.

I like it as it is organic and not made from the modern wheats which are the culprits for causing the worst gluten intolerances. Although knowing that those working and those living on the land where the wheat is grown are better served by consumers insisting on organic, that the land and waters are not being polluted by organic is sufficient reason to want to buy organic, a reluctance to consume toxins and a desire to eat healthily are served best by eating organic, the taste is better than the other pastas too.

Great quality, great value

So yummy. Doesn't upset boyfriend's stupid delicate gluten free stomach and tasty and filling enough for my carb craving without making me feel like I've eaten a lead weight. Cooks in about ten minutes but falls apart if you cook it for ages (longer than 20mins). Nice texture when cooked but not what I'd choose for an al-dente texture if that's your bag.

Very tasty. Cooks quicker than I expected - only 4 minutes. Good texture and taste and more gentle on digestive system. Only downside is a bit pricey.

This is a super 'quick to cook' pasta that is full of taste. It is excellent for those who suffer from wheat intolerance but is not for those with Coeliac disease.The product is/was very competitively priced and arrived very quickly from the supplier.

I was only sent 9 packets of pasta not 10 as advertised.

I will never eat regular pasta as long as I can purchase this pasta. It’s lighter, takes less time to cook unlike other pastas. A little expensive, but when it comes to eating a little healthier, hands down on eating this pasta. Worth the money.

Pasta came packaged very good cooked up nicely and tasted great.
