Excellent Company and Product
I’m a 63 y/o male who like many men whose hair went totally white at 62 y/o wasn’t happy considering, it just didn’t go with how I looked or felt. I decided I’d try a drug store brand hair dye. It was a complete disaster, it had a horrible ammonia smell, caused scalp and face burning, and redness. On top of that I ended up getting a migraine headache. So, that was that for the whole color idea. That was until I ran across a YouTube video with Weston Boucher making a very convincing argument for Simpler Color. Being a researcher, I investigated his claims emphasizing that this product was PPD-Free, and that they used TDS instead of PPD which was tolerated better by a significant percentage of people, along with ethanolamine which provides more natural results with less odor and dryness. No Parabens, which can cause allergenic effects such as skin irritation in many people. I figured that it was worth a try. So, in June 2024 I sent an email to the customer care team and within 30 minutes got a thorough response. I had lots of questions and ended up sending several emails before deciding to give them a try. I received my color box promptly even though it was delivered via USPS. I opened the package and noticed everything was in order with clear instructions and the opportunity to view them on U Tube. The contents of the box came with a color comb, gloves, alcohol pad, and gel packet to protect the skin if you got color on it. I applied the product, which as their name implies, was very simple to apply, using the nifty color comb made it a breeze. I noted that unlike the other color brand, there was no horrible smell, burning or redness and no migraine afterward. Once applying the color and noting the amazing results, I realized that this was very doable and since then I’ve been a loyal customer.Simpler Color is a serious company that holds up to the highest expectations one could ever expect, not just with the excellence of their products, but with the exceptional level of customer care and service. The representation of the product and concern they offer to their customers is phenomenal. I sincerely mean that, if there are ever any questions regarding their product, delivery or any other concerns or situations that may arise, dealing with their product, delivery support or anything else, you will not have to worry about it, because they will have you covered. I strongly recommend Simpler Color to anyone desiring a product that works without the ill affects you may experience with drug store brands, and who are ready to leave the white or gray hair behind. Now that Simpler Color has expanded to offer their products via Amazon, I can say that I’m thoroughly excited about that, since being an Amazon Prime member I received my order to my front door in two days; whereas using USPS it would always be a week or more.

An unexpectedly great alternative to the "leading brand"
Until fairly recently, I'd been a long-time user of the most well-known brand of men's hair color products (I'm sure readers know exactly which one I mean). As the years progressed, I began to read more and more accounts of allergic reactions, often quite severe, and sometimes despite (or perhaps because of?) long-term uneventful use of the product. Myself, I'd never had such an issue outright, but as time went on, use of the product began to elicit an irritated sensation and mild itchiness during and for a short while after usage. As an adult, my facial skin has tended to err on the sensitive side, and between this, the transient irritation and itching, and others' reports of intense negative reactions, I began to fear that it was just a matter of time that I'd experience a bad reaction as well. It was at this point that I began to seek out an alternative. Unfortunately, though there were a few different alternatives on the market, none of them were rated very highly by users. Eventually...though I can't remember how or when...I came across Simpler, and though reviews were not plentiful (I think the product was still relatively new and unknown at that point), they were much better than I'd seen with other alternatives to the "leading brand". After reviewing the website, I liked what I saw and was reassured as to the quality of the company and the product. The only "downside" that I could see was that I'd have to leave the product in longer in order for it to work properly. Eh. Long story short, I am now a dedicated user of Simpler, and barring some unforeseen negative turn in the company or product, I plan to remain such, so long as I have something to use their product on (i.e. hair, of course!)As a quick aside...regarding the aforementioned "downside" of needing to leave the product in longer...with a simple adjustment of routine, this has hardly been an issue at all. What I've taken to doing is to make this a pre-shower process. What I'll do is, before starting anything else, apply the product so that the "countdown" can begin. At that point, now that the product is in and doing its thing, I'll take care of other stuff like cleaning up the applicator and work area, getting the towels ready, water warmed, etc. If I worked a little fast, sometimes I'll work a puzzle or two on the phone before turning on the water. By the time all of that is done, the majority of the dyeing time needed has already elapsed. If I still need a little more time of having the product in but the shower is otherwise ready to go, I'll hop in but take care of other stuff first, leaving the head and face (and product) to wash last.So that's it. If you're at the stage I was earlier and looking for a viable alternative to the "other brand", I'd humbly suggest that Simpler is likely to be worth your time to look at and try out.
