Review: I like collecting watches and this one is my favorite right now - This version of the Timex Welton is a very nice look because it has a vintage look to it and it comes with a very nice leather strap that makes it look like a very expensive watch. The face is very easily readable and the yellow on the numbers and hands is a very nice mustard yellow on the warm side. I also really like the bubbled crystal the watch has again keeping with a classic look. I tried to buy another one of these but before I could they sold out here on desertcart and I found out these watches go upwards of $120-$150 else where. So if you get it here on desertcart you're getting a good deal, its worth every penny you paid for it. Also it has a nice indiglo blue when you push on the crown. Review: Trench watch you can wear every day - These are a real cool reproduction of a trench watch from ww1. You know like the one Captain Koons in Pulp Fiction kept up his...keister fir 2 years in hanoi? Anyways....a real antique trench watch is scarce and expensive. The company Vario makes a reproduction but it costs several hundred dollars and is a crowdfunded product which is a problem for some folks. This Timex version looks the part but is a fraction of the price and has the convenience of being quartz so you don't have to wind it and bonus, It has an Indiglo backlight. If you like the WW1 trench watch aesthetic but don't want to spend too much or want to wear it without fear of damaging an expensive antique then this is a really cool watch.

Need help finding new part
The nob on my watch to change the time has been getting kind of loose. Yesterday it came off at some point and I lost it. This there a way that I could get a new part?

Stylish in an old-timey kind of way...
I really like this watch. It is very accurate, just like you would expect it to be. The leather strap is two-pieces and can be worn with or without the wider part that is under the watch itself. It is made of seemingly very thin leather that is incredibly soft and supple. I was concerned about it being too thin at first, but it is all day comfortable right out of the box. The patina'd bronze case looks just right with the antique-looking face. I hope to have this watch for many years to come.

reissue of a classic pocket watch
This is a perfect watch for anyone wanting something smaller, but not 'ladylike'. No insult intended. It is a great design, from many years ago, and it comes on a very nicely made leather bund. You can take the bund off and just use the strap if you want an even smaller look.

You can always rely on a Timex ...
First, I loves me some Timex watches. Yeah, they are not the most expensive watches but they are certainly reliable for the $$, and if you take care of them they'll last for years. This is now one of my favorite watches in my 400+ collection and definitely one of my favorite Timex watches. It is stunningly handsome to wear and the onion crown is easy to handle when setting the watch.

Cannot take a lickin and still keep tickin.
Really really liked this watch. I like the WWI trench watch aesthetic. It is simple, elegant and legible. The indiglo beats out the brightest lumed hands on any other watch making it easy to read at night. The leather strap is supple (given the very economical price of the watch). But the darn thing broke in less than 2 months. The crown stem broke in half making it impossible to adjust the time. I simply wore this watch around the house (what with covid and all) so I was not out and about doing extreme sports or something. I was just taking off a hoodie and the crown broke off and flew across the room. Sad really. I really liked this watch (until it broke) but it obviously is not built to last. Save your money. Buy the Vario Trench Watch instead.

Affordable alternative to Longines Heritage 1918
Outstanding, affordable piece by TIMEX, and a great alternative to the Longines Heritage 1918. This is clearly not a watch for everyone. Those used to wearing sports watches as their daily drivers may not take to this style of watch. But if you've got that vintage spirit, this will bring it out in your dress. Think WWI, or Walt Whitman. A gentleman's timepiece with the modern advantage of Indiglo. Sits at an average height on the wrist—the same as my Seiko Cocktail time, which is 13mm. The band is extremely comfortable. Probably one of the best in my watchbox. If this fits your aesthetic, then you should absolutely go for it. I paid under $80, and feel confident I got my money's worth.
