Amazing recipes!
This book is really well thought out from concept, photography and most importantly - the actual recipes.Excellent value for the amount of recipes in the book - love the substitutions too, makes it so easy and accessible for all skill levels.I love the mix of dishes we know well (butter chicken recipe, ginger and lime chicken soup) and the more innovative recipes like the chaat and Hainanese Salmon! If you enjoy your food - this is a must buy for your kitchen.

Hearty and easy recipes
Got the book on the day it was released. Its a lovely book with such a variety of recipes. Ingredients are easy to source and Seema has added a page for substitutions. Loved reading about Seema’s journey too. The photographs are great too. I am so looking forward to trying out some of the recipes like Seema’s fried chicken, Smashed Kebab Burger, Korean popcorn chicken and Chilli garlic Kerela prawns to name a few.

Buy this right now!
If you’re thinking about buying this book, this is your sign to do it! I don’t think I’ve ever looked at a cookbook and been so immediately drawn to so many recipes that sound incredibly tasty and comforting but also completely original! She’s somehow managed this using attainable ingredients (both in terms of price and accessibility) and incorporated lots of substitutions in case you can’t get your hands on something.I’ve been cooking Seema’s recipes for years and I knew this book would be good, but the creativity of it has actually blown me away. If you’re still not sure, go and make one of the recipes on her instagram and I’m sure you’ll be convinced you need this (highly recommend the butter chicken, it’s perfection). This would also make SUCH a good Christmas gift for a foodie - it would’ve been on my list if I was patient enough to wait until December!

This really makes recipes fun
I’m am not a natural cook, but I love eating food and wish I was better at making it, I always follow food people on social media and often buy their books. However the complicated recipes and ingredients list lead to me abandoning them. This book has got me excited, I find the recipes so inspiring yet simple to follow and I have already made two (apricot & halloumi 🤤) and can’t wait to make more. It covers such a wide range of cultural dishes made doable. The swap ideas, the way the book is ordered, the aesthetics, I love it all. I’m making the butter chicken soon I can’t wait 🧡
