All in all a great purchase.
My elderly mother had a fall in her bathroom in which she broke her collarbone and injured her back. She lay on the floor for two hours, only yards away from her cordless phone which I had asked her to carry with her everywhere. This item has given me peace of mind on her return home, as she can push one of the pendant buttons and on immediately receiving the call on my mobile phone I can talk to her, if she is in the same room as the device. If she is elsewhere at least I know that something is wrong and living close to her can assist. It did go off once when somehow she caught the button as she lay on it. I have put a wall of Sugru rubber around the rim of the button so it is harder to set it off accidentally. The only thing it cannot do is tell me if she is unconscious. All in all a great purchase.

Just what we were looking for
Just set this up for my father. It seems to be a very good product and we were impressed to find out that when a nominated number is called and the recipient answers, they then press any number key to acknowledge - then the recipient is automatically connected on loudspeaker on the main console, so if the elderly person is on the floor, they can have a conversation via the loudspeaker system - assuming they are within shouting distance. This has given my father great comfort in knowing he can get hold of us at any time - so a great purchase which we are very pleased with.

Avoid!
Oh dear, we tried and tried to make this product fit for purpose, but have now given up. Firstly, the quality of sound for the emergency message is abysmal - you have to shout to get above the in-built extraneous noise. OK, so we just about managed with that, but when it started giving false alarms out of the blue we had had enough. They were definitely false alarms and not user (i.e. aged Mother) error.An expensive white elephant.

Useful piece of kit
Arrived next day, good bit of kit and no monthly charge as with others. Gives me piece of mind whilst I'm at work and my wife is at home.

Bought for my 90year old Mum it works really well and will try to contact up to 3 numbers when button is pressed
