DRAGON BALL 1 (en Japonais)

It's pretty funny some people got upset about the "nudity" in the book, first, it came out in like the 70s or something, japanese culture is very different, I mean, they bathe naked together,Lastly, unless I'm mistaken, this is the only chapter that has those situations with bulma (the girl)The story goes far actually, these characters you see in this book grow up,You follow goku through his entire life, from when he is 6-8 fighting the red ribbon army,When he is a teenager fighting a villainous super being,It goes on and on, he becomes and grandfather, we follow his children's adventures, his friends all go on to have families of their own,All while protecting eachother, the world, the universe, the next realms, other dimensions, and so on.This is a story of legendary quality,Modern stories are short, fan servicing, poorly written, and cut short.

Genial para estudiar Japonés, aunque el furigana de algunos kanjis a veces es demasiado pequeño y se hace difícil de leer. Por otro lado Goku y Bulma hablan terriblemente mal jajajaja. Me encantó, una lastima que los volúmenes siguiente sean tan difíciles de conseguir y más para mandar a Latinoamericana.

I ordered this kinda on an in the moment thing and I received it very happy with the condition. Dragon ball has always been a series I enjoyed as a kid so on my journey in reading Japanese I used this book to help teach me Japanese. It really pushed myself as I became more and more fluent in my reading abilities. Great shipment and came very fast.

A funny and nostalgic tankobon, yet pretty edgy in a way.

I've had this book for 10 years now. Dragon Ball originally started in Weekly Shonen Jump 31 years ago, and then the first volume came in September '85. Dragon Ball is one of my all time favourite mangas from my hey day, because I've been a huge Dragon Ball Z fan since 2002 and it's always been in my blood.The first volume is primarily the start of Season 1 of its Anime counterparts, Goku meets Bulma and searching for the dragon balls changed their lives. There are 42 volumes in this set, which by 2006 I've completed collecting.Nowadays if you're planning to buy Dragon Ball vol. 1 in Japanese brand new or used, the dust cover may or may not be different than this product listing, because the older printings had the familiar oriental spine that says "ドラゴンボール 一", in which translates into Dragon Ball #1 in Japanese. The new re-printings now have modern dust covers that are convenient these days.

内容は簡単で、とても楽しかったです。子供だけではなく、大人にもオススメです。Simple contents, but very funny. This book is not only for children, but also recommended for every one. Yay.

ドラゴンボールのルーツはやはりギャグ漫画。とはいえほとんも下ネタのようなギャグが多いです。当時はそれが珍しかったから面白かったかもしれないがほぼ４０年も経った今に読むと少し物足りない感があります。
