I have doubts about replacing my 9 year old Tempur memory foam mattress with the Zinus mattress. Well, who would not have doubts, when the Zinus mattress cost under £300, and the similar Tempur mattress at over £2,700. My thought was to simply give the Zinus mattress a try, and I am so pleased I did. In my view, after sleeping on the Zinus mattress for 5 nights, I simply could not fault the sleep comfort and experience, with the added bonus of saving £2,400. Quite unbelievable, but true. Why did I chose the Zinus mattress? Firstly, the incredible price, and secondly, it was one of the few brands that actually state the depth of the the memory foam, as many do not specify at all. There is 6 cm of comforting, pressure relieving memory foam in the Zinus king size mattress, whereas, many other brands offer far less, and even as few as 2cm depth of memory foam, which would offer next to no pressure relief. What are the downsides of the Zinus memory foam mattress. There is a benefit to the mattress being supplied compressed and rolled, as it is easily carried and sighted to a room of choice., but the downside is that you have to wait up to 72 hours for the mattress to recover to the 25 cm depth, but in my case though, this took less than 40 hours. The other negative, being the foam odour emitted from the mattress after unpacking from the sealed plastic bag. I guess the foam odours are trapped within the sealed bag, which, upon first opening, feel quite strong, but after approximately just 20 hours from unpacking, the foam odour was no longer present. In summary though, I saved over £2,400 for the small sacrifice, waiting for the mattress to recover and for the foam odour to dissipate, therefore, well worth the wait. If I had one additional wish, it would have been nice to have some edge support to the mattress, but it is no big deal when you consider the price of the Zinus mattress. Would I recommend this mattress, 100% yes and I would buy another one for sure. I have experienced fantastic pressure relieving, comforting sleep using the Zinus mattress and equal to the leading memory foam mattress brand I slept on previously. The Zinus mattress is simply a true bargain.

I was slightly worried about buying this having read all the reviews about the smell, but I needn’t have worried.The mattress arrived quickly and there was a very mild chemical smell for the first 24 hours after initial unpacking, but it really wasn’t that noticeable. We followed the instructions and left the mattress to fill out after being vacuumed packed. The instructions said to leave for 72 hours which we did, but actually the mattress filled out much more quickly. By the time it had plumped up on the bed, the smell had gone and the mattress is beautifully thick and comfortable.It is very soft so if you prefer a firm mattress this probably isn’t for you but it is really good value for the money and I would highly recommend 😊

Our old mattress was at the end of its life span and we were looking to buy a new memory foam mattress without needing to take out a bank loan to buy a brand name as they can sell for silly money. Stumbled across this with over 34k purchases and after spending an hour reading through some of the reviews we decided to order the double mattress with 25cm depth.We left it for 12hrs to expand and although early days this mattress gave me one of the best nights sleep in a long time. It's softer than our old Silent Night mattress, but once your on it just seems to mould to your shape where needed.Some people complain about a strong smell, but we could only smell a slight smell I compared to white PVA glue, possibly from the manufacturing process or materials used. We gave it a once over with some air freshener and that was it, banished so far.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product for anyone wanting a comfortable mattress without breaking the bank.

After using it for a few months I feel I can give my review. It is VERY soft , maybe too much and I like soft mattresses, this isn't necessarily a bad thing we sleep very well on it but it is something to keep in mind. The edges are softer than the rest of the mattress not sure why but you can't sit on it let's say to put your shoes on cause you'll literally be sitting on your bed base as it gets so thin that is completely useless. Other than this the mattress is ok, we'll keep it also because if you need to send back a mattress on amazon you have to send it back in a box and this will be impossible to roll as thigh as it was when it came.

Great mattress

Brought this mattress 18 months ago and originally it was great, however it started to sink, has become lumpy and uncomfortable

Don't take the cover off and you won't die xxIts a mattress, it works fine, it's comfy, it's great. Turn it around as needed. Use a mattress cover and don't soil it and you'll never have to worry about the microfiber stuff. Which you shouldn't anyway as you're not supposed to take the cover off

Comfortable mattress. Firmness is perfect for me and I get a good night's rest.
