I have a spreadsheet with 10 countries I am evaluating. I wish I would have gotten this workbook before I started. It breaks down major considerations to assist you with comparing your top three countries. I would copy the workbook pages, if you are looking at more options for your big move.

I've been considering moving abroad of late, especially with the political situation in the USA. The book has given me enough information to begin a search and added additional value by offering ideas about issues I would have never thought of. Great job with that part. The worksheets also look helpful so you can channel your thoughts into working plans.Now for the but...I had a hard time getting through the formatting. Double-column word wraps, magazine-style format, was a little difficult to manage...for me, anyway. Others might find it more readable, but I struggled.To be clear, the information in the guide was very, very helpful. I just had an issue with the formatting. With that stated, I found the information contained in this book extremely helpful.

This book is very helpful, concise guide, but it is definitely a work book. Given that, you need to either buy the paperback version or be prepared to print it out. It also has great references. The only thing I did not like with it was the layout of dual columns. Reading it on my phone kindle was very distracting as I kept having to enlarge different sections, but.... It is as labeled a workbook, so this bad's on me.

This is a good start for focusing on what you need to research before moving. She suggests keeping a list of your three top places even if you are set on one, which is wise. It's broken down into 10 sections like Visas and Residency, COLA, education etc. She provides directions on where to find that information. It would be nice if that information was provided for you but I assume it wasn't because things change. Still, it would be nice if included as in, "as of the writing of this workbook..." Overall, it's a nice workbook and a great starting place if you're just starting your decision-making on where to move internationally. Recommended

This book serves a decision tree/workbook for someone considering moving to another country. It does a good job of breaking down the important things to consider as you evaluate one country versus another. I've lived abroad for 24 years and found the list to be accurate and helpful.

Easy to follow, insightful, and motivational-gave us so much clarity and confidence to finally take the plunge! HIGHLY recommend using this guide before making such a life changing decision.

I found Dr. Crowley's book is easy to absorb and I think it will be a useful tool for anyone contemplating moving to another country. The only things I thought were missing were some charts or examples of more countries to show some of the differences. Maybe that wouldn't work due to changing situations in various countries.

I felt like most of the pages were pictures and notepads to write down what the reader mustresearch on his own. I thought the book would list countries, and provide the information the author already knows is crucial for the reader to make an educated decision. But it’s just a list of common sense questions that everyone knows they need before uprooting and moving so far away.

Good book to start considering all the pros and cons of moving to another country. I am not sure though that there is a perfect country anywhere to live - so many variables and of course it depends on what stage of life you are at. I have travelled a lot and my personal experiences have shown me that I already live in an almost perfect place!
