I'm 5'7" and 155lbs and it works PERFECTLY for me
I've been wanting to be able to do the splits for quite a long time, but just couldn't do it through regular stretching techniques for a variety of reasons. Today was my first day with this machine and I did about 30 minutes on it over the course of multiple sessions. It's great because you can control the stretch to a very granular degree with the wheel, so you crank it to a point of minor discomfort until it relaxes, crank it slightly wider until it relaxes, and keep doing that. Meanwhile, I have my iPad while I am stretching comfortably (except the minor discomfort from the stretch, of course) so I'm able to get some reading in. The unit is well built, sturdy, comfortable, and nice quality. I'm 5'7" and 155lbs and I fit in it perfectly; the middle of the side pads hit me right in the middle of my knees so it is very comfortable for long stretching sessions. Recommend!

Was so excited to get this, MAJOR LET DOWN
I have been on a quest to improve my flexibility since it is one of my biggest fitness downfalls right now.I bought this in hope it would help. I was very excited to get it, but man what a let down. The description says it is good for up to 330lbs, I am 6' 1" and weigh in at 300lbs (Yea I know, big boy, trying to fix that) , so I am withing the tolerance. Unfortunately when you are my size and to try to sit on this device there simply is not enough room between the back and the wheel to fit. After much bending and twisting and contorting I did manage to get in the device and start winding that wheel to stretch my legs. About a dozen or so turn in, not even really feeling the stretch yet there was a pop and one of the legs on the device started free floating around. Come to find out on of the bolts on the bottom broke off and the leg was free to wander. I am going to have to disassemble to try and fix it.As of right now I give this thing a one star only becauze I cannot give it zero.

Well made piece of equipment that stretches legs and hips and is on sale!
I’m going to start by saying that this is made pretty well. It’s not cheap plastic. Instead, it’s nice faux leather (PU) for the pad material while having thick pads that make the back pad, seat pad, knee pads and leg pads all comfortable. The material of the equipment itself is Alloy Steel. It comes assembled except for the back pad, wheel and knee pads all of which you just push into place. You are in full control of how far or not you want the stretch to go as you control the steering wheel. By turning it counter clockwise, you allow the legs to open and start the stretch from a seated position with your legs straight ahead. The extent of the stretch is from 0% - 190% full stretch. At any time you can stop and it won’t go any further. You can also remove the wheel easily and stretch forward. When you are ready to complete the exercise you just turn the wheel clockwise and it will bring the legs back together in the middle. Two things that may or may not make a difference is the distance between the back pad and the wheel is 11”. Some people who may be larger may have to easily remove the wheel to sit in the seat and then replace it back in. Also, the length of the leg pads is not very long and mostly all legs will hang over and that is normal and shouldnt affect the exercise. It’s actually a pretty good piece of equipment as its function is to stretch your legs and hips and it does that well. It has a weight limit of 300 lbs. Right now it’s a good value as I ordered it when it was 20% higher so it’s a better deal now.

It works
Perfect for not only my daughter in gymnastics but for myself and my spouse, we are able to stretch with our daughter and make it a family routine. I've never been able to do a split, but I will soon. but just in a week I've stretched farther than I've ever attached before

Low quality
This item broke after using it a few times. It will not open all the way and gets stuck partly open. If you are looking for a splits device, do not buy this one as it is low quality and will not last. I have a martial arts school I got this thing on March 21st of 2025 and by the next week it was stripped out and stopped working. It is a waste of your money.

Quality reflects in the price
Good for lightweights, but weight limit isn’t fully accurate. 200lb broke the spring while my brother was using
