I need something like this to withstand rapid heating to around 1100 degrees Celsius.** A: This is steel with a bright zinc finish. At 1100 degrees under any kind of stress I am sure the angle will just fold up. What are you doing?? 600 degrees is Red hot , copper melts at 1084 - have you got the temp correct? On another point; the edges of these angles are very sharp **Q: anyone know its weight bearing strength at all, would it take 100kg hanging from it?** A: First you need contact the manufacturer regarding its specification. Not all slotted angle is the same. You talk of suspending upto 100KG but you need consider the length of the slotted angle too, the longer it is between supports the weaker it gets. Really its not something I would attempt unless I had the structural figures in front of me. 100KG landing on you is possibly something you might not live to remember. **Q: Does "5 no 3m" mean there are 5 lengths of 3m?** A: I ordered this item (?) at least a year ago I believe, and received 10 pieces each 1.5 metres long, More convenient for my application! I don't know if the item you are querying is the same as mine (Amazon seems to think so). Cutting Dexion can be challenging I am told!
