At age 77 I feel much more stable on the wide steps and they do NOT get smaller as you go up. That's a huge ++. Side handles are a breeze to attach. There is a top handle also for more stability. Tool tray is very handy and top step locks ladder open. Easy snap to release and easy to close by pushing it . Wish it was a little lighter but will take the sturdiness over the weight anytime. 4 legs have flared rubber feet for extra stability BUT keep some Mr Clean pads handy because they make beautiful streaks on the painted walls when you forget about those feet. DUH! Easy to fold straight up and lean against wall in garage. Highly recommended.

Great ladder! Height perfect for in house, holds up to 800 lbs weight. Easy to assemble and slip resistant steps. Especially handy are the hand rails making it safer and stable for seniors when carrying tools, paint or anything. Used it for putting up curtain rods. Also has a platform. Wish I had found this years ago!

Sturdy, easy to open and close.

Bought this after seeing a different brand on a family members wedding registry. Being 5'2" has it benefits, yet downfalls. This 5 step ladder helps regardless of height. It was packaged well and no visual defects. I put it together myself as a 6 decade female with medical conditions. I've used it a couple times so far and am pleased. It's sturdy, stable, versatile for both men & women. Love that it's compact and folds-up. A bit heavy for me, (which is a good thing making it more sturdy) so I carry it sideways. I haven't put on handles yet which is the bonus part of this step stool. I need to make a place I can store it with handles on it as I definitely can use them. Would be great if they made handles to fold in or easily taken off for slim storage... just my thoughts.

UPDATED REVIEW (see original below): I have now used this ladder numerous times and have felt steady, stable and safe every time. One knee and the opposite femur were badly damaged (mentioned below) and this ladder has really made a difference in terms of getting safely and steadily climbing. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Just received and assembled this ladder. PRO: Assembly was generally easy and quick. I tested the ladder up to the third step and it felt sturdy, and I found the handrails gave me confidence in climbing and allowed an almost stair-like angle to ascend the ladder. I like the dimensions of the steps, which make it much easier to navigate with my damaged knees. My vinyl floor can add slip to furniture, but this ladder's feet barely budged as I climbed. I'm confident that I will find this ladder more useful and safer than a standard ladder. Yes, it's heavier than a standard aluminum ladder, but I was able to carry it, and in spaces where I couldn't I "walked" it along on its legs. It's weight suggests that this ladder is sturdy and has good load bearing. CON: The insets on the instructions could have been a little larger (what to use to attach the tool ledge and ladder rails), but still not really difficult to follow.

Its a nice sturdy ladder, kust heavy for me to move about evry day.

Great ladder. Solid, not overly heavy, easy to handle and very stable. At 75 I'm not fond of getting "up" in the world but this tool makes it easier and safer.

This is an excellent ladder, very sturdy. After using it for a while, I purchased another one for our second home. Have recommended to all my friends, and family!

Escabeau très bien conçu avec des marches larges des poignées pour se tenir et un plateau pour déposer les outils. Très bon rapport qualité prix/ prix.

Escalera bien diseñada, equilibrada, ocupa muy poco una vez plegada, fuerte y segura. Tal vez por buscarle un pero diría que es un poco más pesadas que las de aluminio. Buena compra y plenamente recomendable.
