perfect!

I got this as nightlights, but specifically wanted motion activated rather than on all the time. The motion sensor isn't too sensitive but it is very bright! Also, if there are any lights on near it, it will not activate (that could be good or bad depending on your preference) Bonus, when the power goes out, it comes on automatically AND detaches as a hand held flashlight.

So far so good

A week after receiving these we had a power failure and they turned on as advertised and had some decent light to them, we used them as a flashlight for a few minutes til the power was restored. It's been only a few weeks and only a single use but everything ok.

Infrared motion detection is nonexistent. Update: Infrared showed up two weeks after plugging them in. So review is five stars.
