Top, top quality
Not really heard of the brand before tbh but I have to say that if they carry on making products of such high quality like this then it won't be long until the brand is well known and sought after. This pan set is manufactured from high quality metals and the pans are not thin at all. There is no worry of these ever warping for sure. The pans are a beautiful silver/chrome look with black handles & clear glass lids with black handles. The interior of each pan has a gorgeous looking pattern that is quite tactile to the touch with a diamond and chevronned pattern throughout the non stick surfaces that coat the base of each pan and sides. These pans are suited to any type of cooking surface whether thats gas, electric or induction and a quick test with a magnet confirms that these are indeed suited to induction hobs. The quick attach handles are a revelation of which you get 2 of and attaching is a simple case of squeezing the trigger up on the underside of each handle which clamps the handle onto the pan firmly and removal is a simple push up button on top of the handle. Brilliant from a storage perspective not to mention safety when it comes to children. The handles are every bit as good as the pans and are heat proof, they feel solid and well made with a good locking mechanism that doesn't fail with ratchet style locking grip. The set comes with a sieve/colander for the largest deep sided frying pan which again is quality and the pans also come with flexible plastic lids for putting on top of each pan which are good for covering food that you either intend to put in the fridge whilst still in the pan or just keeping food warm for a while. This set just about gives you everything you'll need for a thorough pan set and the deep fry pan is particularly impressive.Ok we get to the price which may seem like a lot at just under £400 at time of review but currently has a £50 off discount saving you some money and maybe a tad price restrictive for some but these are going to last you a lifetime in my opinion and look every bit chef quality equipment. You'll appreciate the quality and whilst yes they are expensive they look fantastically unique, solid and premium looking that is going to get admirers from family and friends without doubt. The set arrives in a nice box with everything packaged well to keep each pan, lid and handles all prestine.I am very impressed with the overall quality and I'd say they're well worth the money and a joy to cook with.

Disappointed.
Given the price tag of £399, when a product claims to be nonstick I do expect it to meet expectations. Frying sausages was a not a nonstick experience. The sausages stick to the base & when scraped off pulled away black burnt bits from the bottom of the pan. Maybe you need to fry them gently but i’ve never had to do that with other pans i’ve used.On the plus side, they are very easy to clean.I don’t like the clip on handles. They’re strong enough and keep their grip well but you b can’t keep the c handle on the pan and for the lid on top - which seems a design flaw to me.Without handles on the bigger pots it’s difficult to get them out of a hot oven due to the weight of the pots and the fact there’s nowhere to grip other than the sides. I guess you could clip on handles but v it just feels inconvenient. For me, I don’t think they’re worth the hefty price tag.

A brilliant quality pan/cookware set, but . . .
I recently ordered the 6-Piece, New Model, Hybrid Non-stick pan Set, by ROYDX through the Amazon Vine free product review programme, and here are my unbiased thoughts -The hybrid non-stick surface is a brilliant. I've cooked everything from stir-fries, curry, and stews to fried eggs and even made my own marmalade in them. I found the clean up process to be consistently easy, which is a huge plus for someone like me, who is not too keen on doing the washing up, at the best of times.I have actually tested a couple of the pans in the dishwasher, and found the detachable handles are an unexpectedly brilliant feature, as they take up much less room than conventional 'fixed handled' pans, and also when the handles are dethatched, they only take up about the same space as as similarly sized bowls or large dishes. This clever feature, has the added benefit of making the pans much easier to store than conventional pans in our pan drawers, because like dishes, they easily stack inside each other, and the two handles and lids can be neatly stored next to them.I can't really comment on the virtues of the 'Tri-ply construction' but the pans do seem to heat up fairly evenly and I have not noticed any burning or hot spots, so I'm guessing the tri-ply stainless steel and aluminium construction must be doing its job, as so far, my culinary creations have all cooked perfectly. There is no doubting, this set is a very well made, premium quality, set of cookware items, (which I must say, is very much reflected in the current premium price of just under 400 quid) is a top notch product, and the hob to oven/oven to hob feature is a game changer as far as I'm concerned. However, I am a little worried regarding the durability and longevity of the detachable handles, because if the ratchet mechanisms were ever to stop gripping the pans properly, or were even to break completely, you could, in theory, find yourself left with a set of very expensive, non-stick, metal oven dishes and glass lids. There is a short statement, in the tiny, difficult to read, product care leaflet that says - (and I quote)'Our customer service is here to help. If you have any questions about your Roydx product.'It then gives you the Roydx customer services web address - [email protected] but no mention of any form of product guarantee. Something, I find more than a little concerning, especially for a product at this lofty price point. (FYI there is no mention of any kind of product guarantee in the Amazon listing either)In summary, the ROYDX pan/cookware set is stylish, and highly functional. However, the absence of a clear guarantee policy or duration, is concerning to me, and really needs to be addressed, for customer peace of mind.
