Coaster Home Furnishings Spider Coat Rack Black, 74 Inch (CO-2019)

I previously had a traditional wood rack with three legs and ~six pegs. My kids overloaded the rack and one of the legs finally gave way. It was time to get a new one. I looked at all the racks available on Amazon and I settled on this one mostly due to the metal construction. The legs would have to bend and yield before breaking (that is not going to happen now). Good upgrade for my family. Also the biggest plus is the middle set of pegs. Those pegs are the perfect size for the smaller members of the family. I find myself using those hooks first before the top ones. The extra fourth leg adds stability and this thing is going to be around for many many years. I put the rack together in under 10 minutes. We have been using this rack all winter and so far we are all very happy. It may not be the most artistic rack, but for under thirty clams this is the best value out there for a coat rack that does it all. I am a thorough shopper and I scoured all the racks out there, read all the reviews, and this is the winner! I would buy this again and again for certain.

I bought this for my office months ago to hang my heavy canvas duster, hat and backpack. Due to its location in the corner I only use one side of the hooks, so the weight is often distributed poorly, yet this rack has only fallen over twice in a year, both when I pulled my coat off from arms length.The stand is a little basic, it looks fancy at a distance but up close it is apparent that this is an economy item.The little balls on the end of the pegs are fairly loose and could fall off if not secured, which I expected from previous reviews. I put double sided tape below mine before hammering them on, and they have stuck on admirably.I was going to make my own rack but at the price of lumber, paint and pegs/hooks, this option was more ornate than I could have managed, and much cheaper.For the price, it is great

This went together with no problems. Instruction manual is with pictures only if that is what people are talking about when they say bad manual. It went together in less then 15-minutes. I did have an issue with one "ball" that covers one of the hooks. Used a little glue on that one and it was fine. It did come with a tool to help put it together but it only works on one screw. You will need a phillips screwdriver to finish putting it together.Very sturdy and we'll built. No problems with it tipping. Lots of hooks to put several coats, hats, and dog coats on it.The packaging it came in was well protected. It almost took me more time to get it open then to put it together. It did take a little longer to get it then the 2-days it was suppose to take.

Surprisingly good coat rack. I definitely recommend it. I had to use heavy-duty craft glue to get some of the little pieces to stick on because they were over-sized, but that worked perfectly. Pretty easy to put together. Sturdy. If you're doubting, doubt no longer! As long as the simplicity of the design doesn't bother you, this is a great, highly functional, and aesthetically nice coat rack for a great price!4 Stars only because of the over-sized pieces that didn't quite fit; that might be a bigger problem for someone without craft glue (or the like) handy, as those were essential pieces (the little balls you put on the ends of the tubing).

I bought this coat rack due to the apartment I live in has no coat closet and I was tried of seeing coats all over the chairs. It is a great purchase and buy. Good quality. I am happy and satisfied with my purchase. My husband and I put it together and it was very simple instructions. Other than that we are very pleased. We are able to most of our coats on the coat rack all except my big wool coat which is so bulky anyway. I just store in my own closet. Everything is picked up in its place on the coat rack. Thank you for the great purchase.

I wanted a coat hanger for my office at work and this was the perfect size and price. Overall, I am very happy with it. However, it's not exactly as pictured. The model you see here with the curvy prongs on the top has been discontinued. The manufacturer has replaced the curvy prongs with ones that curve straight out and up so it loses some of the softness that I thought the curvy handles exhibit. The little round nubs on the ends of each prong don't all fit perfectly and can come off. I guess you can glue them to secure them? The rack was easy to assemble and I'm very happy with it. The company was very responsive and accommodating when I told them of the difference in appearance. I gave it 3 stars but would have given it 4 if the rack I got was exactly what is depicted on Amazon.

I received the item in a timely fashion. It was easy to put together. The little knobs for the ends of the hooks would fall off so I supper glued them on and now they don't fall off. I replaced a wooden coat rack that fell over from the weight of the coats and broke. That was my third wooden rack that fell over and broke. I finally learned my lesson and brought this metal one to replace it. This rack holds more coats and is very stable. Great if you don't have a coat closet for yourself or guest. I highly recommend this product.

This is just what I was hoping for. It went together quickly and was the perfect size. I wanted it for my closet to hold my pieces of clothing as I put an outfit together. I only put one outfit on it at a time so it doesn't get top-heavy. Not sure how it would be for heavier coats, etc. It suits my needs exactly. The bottom hooks hold the skirt, or slacks, the middle hooks hold the tops and jackets and the top holds hat selections. With this clothes stand I can put a whole outfit together for the next day and get a really good idea how the outfit will look. It allows me to change pieces until I get just the look I want. Love it.

Simple to assemble but parts of base are a bit off. Quality if average but it can hold three or four winter coats and sweaters.

I was a little worried about the quality since it was so much cheaper than other similar ones (the majority were over $100), however, when it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. The coat rack is a perfect size - tall but not too large at the base. It is also surprisingly sturdy and beautiful for the price (the ornamental bulb on top is super elegant). There are no sharp edges nor is it super heavy in case if you have children and are worried about safety. My husband found the assembly somewhat challenging but managed fine in the end. At first, one of the hanger parts was loose - it seemed like the screw hole was not capable of holding the screw - but we changed a few screws and pieces around and it solved the problem like a charm. Very happy we got it and definitely would recommend.

This isn't the best, but it is easy to assemble using the dimensions pic. Plus it holds so much stuff! I wouldn't have it in a high traffic kid/dog area, because I think it would tip easily. Plus it was missing one of the foot plugs. As it happens, it was uneven and installing only one foot plug made it even. I wouldn't do that on good hardwoods, but my floors are pretty battle scarred. Over all, good value for money as a utility coat rack.

The product is easy to be installed but the four legs seem not stable!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can put my purse, sweaters, dog chains, coats and it's steady. I was hoping with this type of bottom there would be no tipping. I put it together quickly and it looks great. Since it can handle my purse without tipping .. this is a good one!! :)
