BURLYB28-1201B Black 10.5" Slammer Shock (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Bought do my old lady's sporty looks good rides good ..would have giving 5 stars but the decal that is show looks badass . but that's not the decal that was sent with it wish it had the one show in th pic

Installed on my 2018 Harley Iron 883. Dropped only a little from my stock shocks. Shock height only about 1/2” difference. I wanted any additional drop in ride height so I still installed and found very little noticeable difference in overall ride height. My floor jack did have a harder time removing from under my bike after the new shocks were installed versus easily sliding under when I started with the slightly taller stock shocks. Price might not be worth the drop for most customers who have an 2018 or similar (2016-2018) year Iron with stock shocks. Ride comfort is okay so far on short trips.

Great bang for the buck. I am happy everything on these is black. I previously purchased the Slammer Kit, and the fork spacers and springs were actually longer than my factory setup (on a HD Nightster). The Slammer Shocks that came with the kit had the Burly Stickers already installed on them. When I purchased these (shocks only), they arrived with the stickers separately. Note: the photo I attached with the Burly Slammer Shock was one I used and installed from the previous Slammer Kit I purchased. My Slammer Shocks did arrive without the stickers on them, though.

Fit my iron 883 perfectly. Super easy to install if you have a bike jack. Instructions were detailed and the stickers are in the box, glad they didn’t come with them on, I like the plain look. They’re made by progressive so don’t worry about quality.

Not so happy with this product. Box came opened, and had components missing, such as the lube. Furthermore, the install hardware that came in the box does not fit. Specifically, the shouldered sleeves that arrives with the box are to small to fit the mounting bolt for my 2019 Harley Davidson 48. I’m sure the rest of the product is fine, but like the seller to replace the sleeves with the correct one.

Over the stock shocks these are much better. I replaced my stock 2009 Harley iron shocks with these and they helped it a lot! Before the stock shocks felt like they weren't absorbing much, I'm 160# so that makes a difference but I have these 3 clicks in and have improved the comfort of the ride.The look it gave my bike too is awesome! I've notice in corners and some speed bumps in scraps but nothing bad.
