My mother and I do a fair amount of sewing and often are never sure if we have pins missing. A couple of times we have found pins down the side of the sofa and chairs, as well as on the carpet. I had a nasty experience with a pin too when I got it stuck in my hand on a chair.I have never heard of numbered pins before, but thought I would get them - such a good idea.Firstly, these pins are very long, so are particularly handy if you are sewing thick fabric where little short pins don't stay in. The fact that they are numbered means you can always check when you have removed the pins to make sure they are all there. If a number is missing, you know a pin is missing!These are very good quality too, are such a pretty flower design, and will last a lifetime, and they come in a handy little storage box..I have had Quilted Bear products before and it is one of my trusted brands.

I am new to quilting, and I am still learning but these pins have been a great help.They come in a plastic storage box that is much larger than I expected it would be, as it is approximately A6 in size. It is also approximately 1cm think. The box is well made and sturdy.The numbers on the pins are printed clearly and the pins are long so will pin multiple layers and sharp. you get 100 pins in total and there are 10 of each number.Overall I love these pins, they are fantastic quality and I would recommend them.

I have been sewing for 6 years now and have therefore bought many dressmaking pins over this time…these are the longest I have had. I have added an image of 2 different pins to compare the size difference. The smallest is the regular sizes pin, the button top one is longer and what I thought were long enough but as you can see, these numbered, flower head pins are much longer in comparison, particularly next to the regular pin.They are nicely sharp and the numbers will help you organise your pieces if you are a quilt maker and will be helpful if not.Lovely, versatile pins.

The pins come in their own little storage case and are sorted into five sections, with numbers 1 and 2 together, 3 and 4 etc. They are longer than an average pin and have the useful numbers on the ends. They are quite flexible and can easily be pushed through fabric for pinning.
