I recently purchased this for my son when it was on offer. Brilliant wee toy that he has hours of fun playing with it. Plus it connects quite easily with the other mixmashers. The perfect gift for marvel lovers.

Well made looks great. A must buy good to see more venom toys

I perfect think this toy is a bit gross and scary for the age of child it is aimed at. However, if you have a child who is into Venom, then I think this is a fun toy. You can take all the limbs and bits apart and reassemble it and if you have other toys in the same range you can mix up the parts between them to make your own character creations. I always find toys like this with lots of little parts that can easily be lost a bit stressful but kids love them.

My sons love Marvel superheroes so this Hasbro Mix Mashers Venom figure is perfect for them!This figure comes with a base Venom figure along with 7 other parts. The figure allows you to pull the arms, legs and head off to customise your figure with other compatible pieces. There are 9 characters in the collection, each with extra pieces to mix up and create your own new superhero or villain.The figure and pieces are good quality but my youngest son did struggle a bit with pulling the pieces off and attaching them.The figure measures at around 5 and a half inches which is a pretty good size too.My main gripe with this set is that you have to buy more figures in order to get a decent mix of pieces. The included extra pieces in this particular set were shoulder pieces of Iron Man, a web shooter from Spider Man and a few extra arm pieces for Venom. You also get a piece to replace the head which allows you to put 2 heads on the body.Overall, my kids really like this figure.The figure is well made and the idea is pretty cool despite having to buy more to make it a real mix and match set.My kids have given it a 5/5 so what I say doesn’t matter too much really.

In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ It's a really clever idea. Being able to detach parts and connect them to other characters from the same series gives this toy some additional longevity+ It's well-built with sturdy joints and fun accessories.+ The price is fair, if not great, for a licenced toy. It's around £17 at the time of writing, which is about right for Marvel-branded toys.Things I didn't like:- Although the toy is intended to be poseable, the nature of the attachments means that things do sometimes come off when the child doesn't want them to. Might need just a little bit of management and supervision to remind your child that this is all part of the fun so they don't get frustrated.- Similarly, you need to be careful not to lose the parts because they are quite small. Toys like this have a habit of losing arms or other body parts, only to be found months later in a box with other random toys or down the back of the sofa.Do I recommend it?Yes, absolutely. It's a fun idea that adds something a little different to the standard Marvel poseable figures.

The item was fine except it arrived with 2 left hands and no right hand, my grandson was quite upset

Perfect for any young marvels fan. Venom mix and match can be used with any of the other sets in the mix and match range. All its body parts can be mixed up and changed with other characters to make your own unique morphed figure. It's a good size with each piece coming apart; torso, top and bottom parts of each arm and legs, or even has the part to give it 2 heads or attatch accessories. Pull apart and push back together again. The venom creation, comes with 4 red iron spider parts to exchange. You can pose and play letting children's creative side and imaginative come out. The pieces stay quite well in place, not just dropping off. My son loves it has a toy that he can actually pull apart and put back together in his own way. Reasonably priced, we had to get the spiderman which he's enjoyed mixing up with venom.
