Great display case for the "Key to the Bastille" keychain I bought from the Shops at Mount Vernon. Just had to get this box, as I wrote the book "George Washington's Liberty Key: Mount Vernon's Bastille Key." Removed the keychain rings, and the gold-finish key fits quite nicely, working as a reminder of the real Bastille key in its case in the entryway of George Washington's mansion in Mount Vernon. For the box's price, I have to say I was impressed, especially given prices for such cases elsewhere. As for some negatives reviews, I did notice, however, that the lid had one of its sides very slightly out of alignment. You might see this at the top left of the accompanying photo. I'm hesitant to do any pressing into shape, out of concern that I might break the glass. At any rate, unless one has a very critical eye and handles the box closely, no one is apt to notice the slight flaw. This being said, I'm quite pleased!Check out one of William J. I've looked at a lot of display boxes lately, but this one is simple and elegant which let's you focus on what's inside. It's adorable and also fairly well made. However, it had some nicks on the top panel of glass near one side. It looks like someone had a little trouble getting the last side to fit into the metal frame. If I could I would deduct a half star for the damage since it distractions from the keepsake which is the whole purpose of this little box. That said, it's still beautiful and I might get another one in the future.

This little glass box is perfect to display a collection of arrowheads my great-uncle gave me years ago. I have been wanting to purchase something just like this!

I searched my order history to order the same item and it is much smaller than the original item and they make no note of that on the listing. I find this to be deceptive.

It’s smaller than I would like it to be and shame on me for not paying attention to the description. It is also ever so slightly smaller than they dimensions they give. Other than that it is a beautiful and well made box.

I love this little box! I bought this to display our rings in at our wedding, and it worked perfectly. It looked very classy! The quality of the box was great, and it arrived without any damage. The mirrored bottom is such a nice touch, and I love the pictures of our wedding rings displayed in the box. Would definitely recommend this box!

Elegant looking, good value. I got this to keep the cats from helping me lose my accessories if I leave them on the night stand and it has a nice small footprint and looks lovely. Feels well made, we'll see how it holds up but I think it will be good.
