Review: Très bonne qualité - Bonjour, je viens de recevoir ce micro et j'ai eu l'occasion de le tester directement, je suis magicien de métier. A première vue un produit très simple, bien rangé dans son étui de protection, la qualité shure n'est plus à démontrer... - j'aime sa légèreté, j'avoue que j'ai eu un peu de mal à m'y faire au niveau de l'attache, on croirait qu'il va tomber mais pas de problèmes, il ne bouge pas! - il a un très bon son, clair et ne fait jamais de coupure. - attention par contre au larsen, il est beaucoup plus sensible que les autres micros de la même marque, mais bien atténué après un réglage précis. En conclusion il est tout de même un peu cher. Mais la qualité est au rendez-vous, shure ne m'a jamais déçu. Je recommande donc cet article les yeux fermés!

**Q: Can I connect this directly into a console mixer?**
A: No. You will need the transmitter and receiver. The mic plugs into the transmitter, the transmitter transmits to the receiver and the receiver plugs into your mixer.

**Q: Is there a best practice on how to adjust this to your ear in a way that's secure?**
A: I had to do this.  Slide the rubber tube so that it sits over and behind your ear.  Bend the end (with the end piece) around your ear so that it is in front of the ear lobe.  Then to get the mic end closer to your face push the bottom (the ear lobe end) closer to your head.  It takes a little practice and some thinking backwards, but this should help.

**Q: Is it compatible with GTD transmitter?**
A: Not sure

**Q: Which wireless transmitter do I get to connect this microphone to the Shure GLXD14 base?**
A: Hello - it should work with any Shure transmitter that has the TA4F port. That's the small 4-pin plug.

This microphone performs well, as expected. As with most things, you get what you pay for. It took me a while to figure out how to keep the mic positioned properly the first time I used it. Once I figured out how to tighten the earset around my ear and use the clip on my collar to stabilize the cord, it worked fine. One challenge with the device is taking a drink of water while wearing it. A water bottle with a small opening would work better than my stainless water container. Others might not see this as a problem but I drink water frequently including during presentation of seminars. This mic definitely picks up better than a lapel mic. It is being used in our church and, unfortunately, other speakers are not comfortable using it. They prefer a lapel mic which provides inferior sound.
