It works perfectly. We have 4 cats. I set it to feed them every 4 hours. And it works with alexa if I want to give them extra, I just tell her. The ap is easy to use. It it smartie so it's many of the other things we already have. It holds a lot. It is very sturdy and the lid fits on tightly.

I really do love this! The brand has always been great for me, I like how my feeders work. I have two, one dual feeder and the other is a standard one feeder, both of them connect to the internet. The times they go off are accurate! Both of my feeders go off within 10 seconds max of each other! The app is super intuitive, and pairing was easy! I think the safety lock strap should be longer (only by ¾") but otherwise the look and feel of the feeders are great and compact! The noise level is nothing noticable, I got used to it in about two days. It's small bits of kibble hitting a metal bowl, of course there is going to be noise! LolSomething I think that should be improved are the bowl sizes. I would like to see a 6.5 in bowl to reduce the chances of whisker fatigue for my cats. Yes, I know this would take away from the compact nature of the feeder, but I value my cats health and happiness way more than a feeder.

I had a timer feeder with one bowl. It was loud and caused issues between my cats. I finally upgraded to this and I love it. I’m really happy that it doesn’t beep when dispensing food. The only noise it makes is the food hitting the bowls. It’s pretty quiet. There’s enough storage for the food to last about a month or two. I love the app! I’m allowed to make set times for dispensing food and portion sizes. I can also see a log of when food was dispensed while I’m not home. This feeder has made my life so much easier and has allowed both cats to eat at the same time.It is wifi dependent so if wifi is out, food won’t automatically dispense. It also works best when placed close to the wifi router.

If you are expecting to set your own exact portion sizes with this feeder, you are beat. The portions are pre-determined; however you can increase the number of portions per feeding. At the bottom of the Smart Life app. there is a blue tab that says FEED with a + and - to the left. #1 is a pre-determined portion size. #2 is 2 pre-determined portion sizes. My vet recommended that I put my cat on a diet which has been excruciating for both of us. She isn't supposed to have more than 1/2 cup of food per day. I had to fill the feeder to see how this is going to pan out. Great idea, but what weight is this "portion" that is dispensed? If this was the design, why doesn't the manufacturer specify how much food comes out in their pre-determined portion size? Is it 1/8 cup, 1/4 cup? What is it? I'm usually disappointed with the low functionality and user friendly aspects of contemporary electronics. My night owl camera's are a disappointment too. This product may be getting returned.

This feeder has a mind of its own. I have it set to feed 1 time a day at 6:30am (they get wet food at night) and thing feeds multiple times a day whenever it wants. You can see it does actually feed at 6:30 but then it randomly feeds 3-4 other times randomly throughout the day as well. I do not recommend this feeder and had to return it.
