I have the 3 foot tall nativity scene and it ends up with the plugs such that it's difficult to get them all connected because they are spread around a bit. In prior years I used 3 or 4 of the small indoor extensions with multiple ends to get them all connected. I have LED bulbs in all of them so current draw isn't an issue.Now, I have an easy way to set up one extension cable to power 3 wise men, a star, a lit crib, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus! No fooling around trying to get all 8 plugged in, I have another group of the female vampire connections just like the ones that came with this set so I was able to use a 24' length of wire and put 8 outlets on it. The female outlet has a knockout that you can use to put it inline, so this is perfect! The male connection has no such knockout but I 'made' a knockout and then put it in the middle of the strand so there's 12 feet of wire coming out of the right and left of the male plug.If you have LED bulbs and awkwardly spaced yard art, this is for you! Do be advised that this is indeed only 18 gauge so you need LEDs to keep the amperage draw down if you plan to do something like what I did.

I was doing my Christmas lights yesterday. It is a pretty big event but I took my time last year color coding different strands of lights and extension cords that I used in different places. However, one of my extension cords was nowhere to be found.The cord was a long cord that ran through my front bushes to be able to connect them all onto one cord. It had about 6-7 female plugs through out the cord so I didn't have to run multiple cords. I couldn't find it and luckily I had this coming.I got the cord right on time and was able to finish my Christmas lights because of it. For anyone doing custom Christmas lights at their homes this is a much need accessory. It makes life so much easier and limits how many extension cords you'll actually need to do your displays. I highly recommend this wiring.

Used this to install low voltage lights along the side of my shop. There is a walkway that was very dark at night. I used Fastlock Wire Connectors which made the installation fast and easy.
