Even after reading the positive reviews, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the shipment to find that the box was quite big. It really gives that wow factor for gift giving to my 6 year old and appears to be great quality. For the cost, it seems like a steal.I will update with photos after Christmas once opened, but for now- I say get it!

I got this for my 9 year old grandson who loves playing with army guys, and has just started making his own stop motion movies. The action figures included have moving joints. Great size. Love all the fun vehicles. Pieces seem sturdy enough. Nice, large set that's perfect for kids to play alone or with friends. I question the age suggestion of 3. There are some really small parts, especially the guns, cellphone, etc. You could easily take those away and still have plenty pieces to play with. I did have difficulty, myself, getting the figurines into the helicopter and truck. I'm sure a younger child would have difficulty and may need assistance with that. All in all, a nice play set for the price.

I left it in the box since Christmas is still over a month away. Feeling the toys they have a little weight to them. I envision hours of imaginary play. It sets up like a guard’s checkpoint with fencing and tower. The helicopter should light up and make sounds. I can see dad and/or the older sibling playing as they relive their own childhood. Overall so far with having not taken them out of the box I give it five stars. I will edit my review after Christmas ic I see they are not withstanding all the play time.
