POWR Men's Black Minimalist RFID Blocking Wallet with Coin Compartment, Holds 8 Cards, Zipper Closure

Very good quality wallet that doesn't bow all my cards. Highly recommended

This is my review of the POWR wallet for men with metal cardholder and coin compartment. Firstly, the wallet comes in a cardboard presentation box which is black and simple. If you are gifting this wallet, you can't check it out first without removing two stickers on the side of the box, which will tear the sides. It's wrapped in a sheet of branded tissue paper, again, in order to remove it you have to take the sticker off and this rips the paper. If this is for someone else, don't open it. The wallet is exceptionally small. Its marginally bigger than a bank card in length and width. It would easily slip into a jacket or trouser pockets. It holds more cards than you'd think, having the metal RFID blocking card compartment holding five cards, plus room for a further three card pockets. It is closed with a snap fastener and has a coin compartment on the back. You won't get much in there, maybe three or four pound coins at most. The card ejector is clever, in that you simply push your cards in and when the trigger is pulled they pop out in order, which you can do without opening the wallet out. The overall quality of manufacture is very good. It has tidy stitching, a good zip and is well made. However, I few issues with it. The faux leather is very thin. It's not in my opinion, any kind of substitute for the real thing. It feels a bit plasticky and looks cheap to me. The pocket that holds bank notes and receipts, has already curled outwards as the fabric is so flimsy. I'm not sure how secure a note would be in this pocket as a result. It feels clumsy to use the card ejector trigger as it's a strong mechanism housed in a such a lightweight wrapping. If you want a wallet which is vegan, holds a lot of cards and is super compact and small, this is ideal. I just feel that the material lets it down. It's perhaps, just too lightweight for me.

After reviewing a couple of other wallets, I always went back to my old and tired one. Not this time—I have finally found a wallet worthy of replacing my old one. First Impressions The wallet comes in a nice box suitable for gifting. First impressions were very good as it looks and feels really high quality with flawless stitching. I loved the little embossed Trojan symbol (I'm a Trojan Records collector). But mostly, I loved the compact size compared to my old wallet with its tri-fold design. Compartments The very best feature is the credit card holder. It is an aluminum cartridge design with a plastic card ejection mechanism. There's a slider at the bottom, and as you slide it to one side, your cards pop up, making it so easy to grab a card (pick a card, any card... is that your card?). This does bulk up your wallet's thickness a few millimeters, which is a small price to pay for the convenience. Oh, and you can also use this feature with the wallet closed—impressive! The main notes compartment is simple yet well-designed, making it easier to see and grab the right note. There's another small card slot with a thumb slot to push up the front card and another single slot on the pop-up card cover. Finally, there's a small coin purse on the rear, handy for a small amount of coins, but it does push out the overall thickness. In Use Simply put, this is easily the most convenient and fast wallet I've ever used. The pop-up card slot performs perfectly for my most-used cards, and I loved the easier access to my notes. I've never carried coins in my wallet before, but I appreciated the small coin purse. I also liked the tri-fold design with the press-stud fastening. Thick as Thieves I feared that a tri-fold wallet along with a pop-up card mechanism was going to be too bulky, but it turned out to be not much thicker than my bi-fold wallet. The smart use of slots somehow saved space, and the minimal leather thickness also helped. Even with coins in the purse, it just never felt too thick. Honestly, I am so impressed with the thickness and compact size. Overall Conclusion I honestly couldn't ask for more in a wallet as it was such an upgrade to my old one in almost every way. The compact size, quick access to notes and cards, along with the small coin purse and the overall quality, impressed me no end. This has become my Poundland.

Pros - good quality PU leather - button clicks nice and isn't a pain to open - card slider is a little tougher than other ones I've reviewed which means you won't push them up by accident - simplistic design, has that typical older leather wallet feel with the addition of the card holder and slider Cons - no clear window if you want to use your driving license in one of the internal slots - zip isn't the tightest but I haven't had issues so far It's got that feel of a typical older folding wallet. This feels like the first wallet that has that 'manly' appeal. It reminds me of my older wallets but now includes the card slider (which is a great thing to have in a wallet.. so useful!) So the PU leather is good quality. Design is simple, not stupid names just a little logo. The button to keep it together instead of magnets or floppy. Folds out enough so you can put cash into it with more ease. Although these wallets tend to suffer from not holding a lot of cash in. So you're not gunna fit 500 quid worth of notes in there.. I genuinely love this wallet. It has everything I need. A zip pouch. It folds out fully to put notes in instead of squeezing them in to a smaller design. Card slider is tougher to push the button so you don't accidentally unload the cards. Has an extra 3 pockets internally for cards. It's genuinely my new favourite wallet. Has everything I wanted in a wallet. And it's not like I'm going to wander around with 500 quid in notes any time soon so perfect for people who use mostly cards but might have a couple of notes and need a zip pocket for something. Guitar plectrums, keep sakes etc. I love the simplicity of the design as well, just a logo. No brand names. Genuinely 5 stars for me personally!

I have mixed feelings about this little wallet. Probably the most disappointing aspect is that it's made from imitation leather (PU Leather/ Protein Leather) so it's shiny black leather look exterior is unlikely to last long. Then there's the note storage section which if I'm honest, does make me worry about losing my notes, they could easily fall out. I would have preferred a pocket which was enclosed on three sides as opposed to only two. With that out of the way, I have found this little wallet more useful than I imagined, it helped me clear the clutter from my existing wallet so that I'm now only carrying what I really need, i.e. bank/loyalty cards. I would prefer not to carry loose notes for the reasons I identified above. The wallet does come with a little zipped section which is a little too small to be really useful, but I have just about managed to pop my USB two factor authentication key in there should I need it at any stage. I think where this wallet does redeem itself a little is with it's card storage capabilities, in particular the RFID blocking, metal-enclosed spring-loaded section, which when pressed ejects your cards just enough to choose the card you need. It holds 5 cards in total and I found these are securely held in place both in the closed position and the ejected position so there's no need to worry about them all falling on the floor. If you want a minimalist wallet look no further, it comes with a 12 month warranty which might please some but others like myself might prefer real leather for longevity.

Brought 2 of these as presents. Whilst the concept is good, its not practical for the money notes as they they curl when the wallet is closed. I wouldn't recommend to be honest.

This wallet ticks all the boxes for me. It can hold up to 8 cards, which is more than enough for my needs. I like the clever sliding mechanism that makes your cards pop out for easy access. Additionally, the compartment for coins is small but well-designed on the outside, with a zip to keep them from falling out. I've had issues in the past with loose coins slipping out of other wallets, so I like that this one keeps everything in place and doesn't let you accumulate too many coins. It has a compact, sturdy and durable design. It fits neatly in a pocket or bag without creating unnecessary bulk, which is a big plus for everyday carry. Despite its compact size, everything inside is easily accessible and well-organized. An additional feature that I really like is the *RFID protection*. The built-in RFID-blocking technology prevents unauthorized scanning of my cards, offering an extra layer of protection against fraud. With this wallet, I don’t have to worry about someone passing by and skimming my contactless cards. Made from soft vegan leather, this wallet is thoughtfully designed to meet both practical needs and modern security concerns, making it an exceptional choice for anyone seeking functionality, durability, and peace of mind. It should make a fantastic gift, as it also comes very nicely packed in a very appealing presentation box. I'd definitely recommend it!

What a lovely, great quality cardholder wallet. This wallet has a metal card holder which stores 5 cards – plenty for the average consumer and also has 2 additional card slots. It has an inner pocket which is great for any notes you may want to carry and a small, but very useful zipped compartment for coins. It is slim in design which means it doesn’t take up too much space in your back pocket or your jacket, It is made from vegan leather and is elegant and stylish too. The RFID blocking technology make this a safe and secure option for your cards. What sets this apart from the rest is the way this has been packaged – making it absolutely perfect for gifting. Not a cheap wallet, but one that is timeless and durable too.

Erstaunlich wertiger Artikel für diesen Preis. Für mich allerdings zu voluminös, da war mein bisheriges Wallet deutlich kompakter. Was mich persönlich stört: der Reißverschluss des Münzfachs öffnet sich immer wieder ein kleines Stück. Nicht so weit, dass etwas herausfüllen kann, aber es sieht nicht schön aus. Gut ist, dass auch das Scheinfach aus Leder ist. Das sollte deutlich langlebiger sein als die dünnen Plastiklappen, die andere Wallets verwenden.

Das erste was einem auffällt ist die hochwertige Verpackung. Ein stabiler und schön designter Karton als Verpackung hinterlässt schon mal einen guten Eindruck und sorgt dafür, dass die Geldbörse so auch schön verschenkt werden kann. Die Machart des Produktes selbst ist auch sehr gut gemacht. Fühlt sich nicht billig an und bisher gibt es auch keine Abnutzungserscheinungen. Geöffnet hat man dann schön viel Platz für alles wichtige, ohne dass die Geldbörse zu dick oder groß wird. Scheine, Karten und Münzen können gut und sicher verstaut werden. Auch die Anzahl der Karten die man reinpacken kann ist für mich mehr als ausreichend. Somit passen also Optik, Verarbeitung, Nutzung und bisher auch Langlebigkeit. Perfekt ist die Geldbörse aber leider nicht. Zum einen sind ain paar der inneren Kartenfächer so eng und knapp gestaltet, dass ich teilweise Probleme hatte die Karte rauszuziehen, weil sie so fest steckte und wegen dem Ledermaterial eben auch nicht so einfach rutscht. Das war an der Kasse so ärgerlich, dass die gängigsten Karten umgelagert habe, was das Problem der Anwendung löst, aber nicht das Problem generell. Auch der Reißverschluss für das Münzfach ist unschön wie ich finde. Es sticht so nach oben hervor, dass es einfach nicht schön ist. Klar, das Fach funktioniert und bietet genug Stauraum, ist allerdings ein optischer Mangel, welcher nicht zu übersehen ist. In Summe bin ich aber sehr zufrieden und kann die Geldbörse empfehlen - aber man sollte die kleinen Mängel beachten.
