The Dr. was giving me injections into my eye for it, but stopped due to my new insurance. I kept taking this while the Dr. monitored every 6 weeks, and the retinopathy completely went away in a few months w/o injections. Checkup 6 months after- still all clear. I have read that Asta also is great for heart health, but you have to be careful of taking too much if you're on certain heart meds.
