The biggest advantage is how simple it is to use, just add the recommended amount of water, place the eggs in the tray, and press the start button. Whether I want soft-, medium-, or hard-boiled eggs, the results are consistently reliable. The included measuring cup makes the process nearly foolproof, so little effort is required and eggs come out tender and evenly cooked. Another thing I appreciate is the speed. It cooks eggs faster than traditional boiling methods and automatically shuts off when finished, so I don't have to keep checking on them. Cleanup is also quick since the removable trays are easy to wash. I use a "magic eraser" to clean the mineral deposits left on the heating surface from our hard water. ABSOLUTELY EGG-CELLENT! I highly recommend this product! I have read egg boiling and peeling tips from home cooks to top chefs, but it’s still a messy, time consuming task, especially peeling them. Once you use these you won't go back to regular boiling eggs. Easy to cook. Easy to clean and perfect VERY easy to deal eggs every time! Love this! I bought this one for my dad. Ive had mine for years and still works just as good as when it was new.

What a great small gadget. My family members were my testers and I made Jammy, soft-boiled, hard-boiled eggs and a broccoli cheese omelette. The Jammy eggs were a huge hit as my family really likes them with Japanese and Korean dishes. Soft-boiled eggs had the top shell removed and the eggs were a perfect consistency. Added butter, salt and white pepper and they were just like how my father used to make them for me. The hard-boiled eggs were easy to peel and the yolks were bright yellow without any green or grey. Eggs salad and deviled eggs were perfect. I like my omelette well done so I left it covered and it cooked to perfection. Would make a tasty breakfast sandwich at the well done cooking time. Great for a busy am when you want an egg but don’t want to deal with having to babysit the pan! There is a musical like alarm. I liked the combo water measuring device that holds an egg piercer on the opposite end, No eggs cracked! Easy to clean and store and I give this two thumbs aloft!

This is a small egg cooker/steamer that does hard boiled, soft boiled, "omelet" and "poached" eggs. Holds up to 7 eggs or two for poaching and one dish for "omelet." Poached egg is just steamed whole egg broken into the two sides of the dish. Omelet is for beaten egg, steamed as a cake in the single dish. Add chives or herbs, or cheese, kinda like a big flat egg bite. Good points: 7 eggs is a decent number for a smaller household. Auto shutoff, with a cute little tune to tell you the eggs are ready. (I think you manually have to stop it to time it exactly, though.) Small water measure included, egg pierce needle covered on bottom. We tested it with 5 eggs on "soft" and it cooked them to semi-hard. (not liquid yolks, somewhat solidified.) Cons: Don't put your hand over the top when it's cooking; the steam will burn your arm or hand Really big eggs could be crowded. The unit is small. The measure is hard to read. We marked it up with a Sharpie to make the most common egg style we make more visible. Compared to my well-loved Krups egg cooker (no longer made) it's pretty good but doesn't look as durable as the plastic parts are pretty thin. As a value, it's ok because it won't break the bank and it's functional. The small size would be of an advantage in small dorm rooms or tiny urban flats.

I love this little hard boiled egg maker. My sister bought one first and after seeing it I went home and got my own. So glad I did! This little rapid egg cooker makes 7 hard-boiled eggs very quickly and they are perfectly cooked every time. It shuts itself off when it's done and informs you that is is finished with a lovely little tune that's unmistakenable from any other appliance so you know when you hear it that your eggs are ready. Just drop them in cold water for a few minutes and they peel beautifully! This little appliance is made of a durable plastic with a metal base and is of a good quality. It's easy to clean. I know it also makes poached eggs and omelettes--though I haven't tried these features yet. I'm sure they work very well too.

I love this egg cooker! It's very easy to use and makes cooking eggs simple. Just add the recommended amount of water based on the number of eggs, and it cooks them perfectly every time. My sister-in-law recommended this egg steamer, and I was a bit reluctant since I’m not a fan of single purpose kitchen tools. After using this for the past month, I’m sold. Es fácil de usar y te ahora mucho tiempo y gas solo lo he usado para huevos duros y cumplió con mis expectativas , busqué algo que me hiciera ahorra tiempo y este vale mucho la pena . Le puse toda la medida de agua y fueron aproximadamente 10 minutos en que estuvieron listos .lo compré en rojo para que combinara con mi cocina y me encantó

Does not have "Auto Shutoff" feature. Just beeps like the rest of them. I was hoping it would turn itself off once eggs were cooked. NOPE just beeps and keeps cooking.
