Started over from scratch, and it lasted 3 months. Did it once again and got 4 months out of it before it's totally unusable. After the first crash, I kept a close watch on it using CrystalDisk Info. It always showed good health w/ no bad sectors. Do not know if it was just this particular drive out of many, or not. I will not buy another.
