Was looking forward to use this for various things during this season. Item was very old , brittle, stale . It’s color had even changed. Was very disappointed. This is my third bad review in all these years! Candy had to be thrown in the trash!

These will absolutely come broken...I have yet to see any sort of candy sticks survive shipping in tact. Out of my 5 packs, I had exactly one stick that was whole. No big deal to me since I break them to eat them anyway, but if them being whole is important to you, you may want to reconsider.That being said, these are very small bags of candy sticks. They are an orangish-yellow color of striping. The sticks are a little thinner than I usually see for soft candy sticks like this and they are a little harder and less melty at first than most candy stick meltaways. I wouldn't call these "butter RUM"...more like just the butter. Almost butterscotch in taste. They're not terrible. Not exactly what I was looking for, but pretty good for what they were.Even though they weren't exactly what I was looking for and they were broken, I DO actually like them. The fact that they take a little longer to melt away makes them last longer, the flavor is tasty and different, and the broken pieces make them bite sized. Happy accidents, I guess! My only major issue is the bags are so small so it feels like there's not quite as much value for the price as I would like.
