70302-12 12 Oz. Soft Blue Paste Machining Lubricant

I tried it since drilling some 316 cres. Broke 2 colbolt bits. Tried again with this stuff, same speed and feed, rubbed bit in the lube and worked, smoother to and felt cutter better on the mill.Should have used it prior and save me breaking two bits.I would recommend it. Still you look and think nah..

100% top recommendation for when you need to drill out a hardened steel bolt with a hand drill. Stuff works better than any other cutting lubricant I have seen. I’m glad I listened to a co-worker and nabbed it. This stuff is a life saver.

This stuff is really soft and less viscous than the medium paste version. It runs a bit more, and I usually use it after the medium paste (which i use to start my cut) when I am cutting more than 2-3mm deep.

I use this to machine aluminum, copper, brass, bronze and magnesium so far. Soon I'll be using it on mild and stainless steel, titanium and inconel. Helps with finish, temps, chip evac and tool life. The photo is of a project I'm doing with magnesium AZ31, the finish is silky smooth and the pattern is beautiful. I surfaced and left .002" behind to finish/pattern. Smeared a thin coat about the size of half an M&M along the top, ran a quick operation at .002" depth and now she shines...you can see some of the Boelube left in the hole that was milled out prior to facing. HIGHLY recommend this to any machinist who doesn't like or utilize flood coolant systems. Super easy to work with and easy to clean up. Remember to keep it cool as it starts to liquify once you start hitting the 80-85 degree F range.I've also used it with HDPE, UHMW, PVC and cast acrylic, works very well there to to keep heat down and provide a silky surface finish.

Lubricant is great, but the container is delicate and was shipped with a broken seal and lid by Amazon, no evidence of the broken lid chunk in the box itself.

The best thing I have found for drilling. Dip your drill bit in it and it will make the drill bit cut 100 times better than anything else and makes drill bit last 10 times longer.

Dramatically helps drilling and cutting. Allows you to drill holes like its a brand new bit on every hole. I also dab a little on my metal band saw and it cuts way better and makes my blades last much longer. a little goes a long way, and i mean a little. It does start to liquefy above 100deg. I leave it inside since i live in Arizona and the garage is well over 100deg for months at a time.

First of all, this stuff is incredible. Highly recommend using this on your bits for tapping and drilling. Unfortunately, the lid broke on my first order due to the inadequate packing material (padded envelope). I returned to Amazon, and they sent out a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement showed up damaged in a padded envelope as well. Hoping the 3rd time is the charm. In conclusion, it might be challenging to receive an undamaged container of Boelube, but it is definitely worth the effort for such a great product.
