This book offers such hopeful remedies from a readily available product-coconut oil. I wish all that the author claims coconut oil will do for a dog were true. I did speak to my veterinarian about the things the author claims coconut oil will do and she said it would be good for a dog's coat. She said she keeps up with all the journals and there was no mention of the magical properties this author claims coconut oil has dogs. I will say I had an insect bite that itched terribly and I rubbed coconut oil into it and it did take away the itch for me so it may well be helpful for dogs with sensitive skin.

I had read this book and I have starting brushing her teeth with coconut oil. She looks forward to it. She loves it. Before she would not let me even touch her mouth. I started making her food and she gets a 1/2 Teaspoon oh Coconut oil in that. She is a small dog, very fussy eater. Not any more. Very good Book and I will keep it close by for reference.

Liked that book was an essy and informative read. Would like have seen tables / formulas for the quantity of coconut oil to body weight that is proven safe to consume.
