The Viofo HK4 Hardwire Kit with Fuse Tap is a solid choice for powering my Viofo dash cam. The installation process was easy, and the fuse tap made connecting to the vehicle’s fuse box straightforward. The low voltage protection is a nice feature that ensures my car’s battery isn’t drained. However, I needed to splice in my own longer wires because the included ones weren’t quite long enough for my vehicle. Despite that minor tweak, the kit works perfectly and is a great solution for hardwiring a dash cam. Would recommend it, but keep in mind you might need to extend the wires for larger vehicles.Its better to have too much wire, and have to cut some off or hide it away, then not enough.
