Can I use this as a kitchen windowsill?

I have done in the past. Aswell as usung them for easy wipe skirting boards..easy to fit and clean.

Is a pilot hole required before nailing.

I always drill pilot holes when dealing with UPVC sections makes life easier when you put the screws in , if near the edge i have known the UPVC to crack. My view is better safe than sorry. I do not install this professionally but have fitted quite a bit of UPVC to houses i have lived in. Hope this helps

Does the width include the lip? If not how wide is the lip?

Yes it includes the lip which is 35mm..150mm high and approx 8 to 10 mm thick. Hope this helps

The inside dimension is 25mm the outside is 35mm
