Review: Looks good - Looks great. However the hole is very big. I have a quooker tap, which is extra wide and there is still a gap. The soapstone does gets speckled when wet, which is slightly annoying but it dries quickly. One tip - my husband had put his dirty coffee mug on it, which left a brown ring! I started trying to sand off the mark, which would have taken ages, so I sprayed some flash with bleach and it worked a treat.
Review: Seems like a great idea.. in reality, not so much. - These seem like a great idea on paper... however they are really REALLY not. They retain water and it doesn't seem to want to dry. In fact, underneath the stone was so wet that after a couple of days it started to smell and had discoloured. Basically, this is just a bacteria sponge and stays wet so the bacteria breed and smell. Pointless... guess what does work.. a cloth... just wipe up water, leaks, drips with a cloth.

These seem like a great idea on paper... however they are really REALLY not. They retain water and it doesn't seem to want to dry.
