## Description

Product Description The arcadia ceramic clamp lamp with reflector is the easy way to mount lighting in your reptile or amphibians terrarium. The socket comes with a multi-directional clamp, allowing you to focus the light and heat where needed, either to heat a smaller terrarium or to create a localised hot spot. The set also includes a screw fix bracket if you need to fix it into a wooden vivarium. The lamps have a screw fixture and are ideal for use with mercury vapour bulbs and halogen basking spot lamps. The fixture is made from ceramic, making it heat resistant, ideal for use with ceramic heat lamps. The dome is made from highly reflective aluminium which reflects heat and light back to into your vivarium, ensuring maximum output and retaining what would otherwise be wasted energy. The clamp lamp also includes a detachable protective mesh cover. This is recommended as it prevents your pet from accidently touching the bulb and injuring themselves. A: Yes . I use it for my turtle tank , with a 40w heat bulb .

**Q: Daft question perhaps but how would this be secured onto the lamp holder on a tortoise table?**
A: Sorry, I can't help. My torty is about 60 and she roams the house when the weather is not good enough outside. I just tie the lamp on the back of a chair and she goes there when she feels like it and pushes the cat out of the way.  Hope you solve the situation by erecting a structure from which to suspend 🤔 And enjoy her or him as many years as I have mine. Cheers, liz E

A: Sorry the length of what? The cable? It’s for a screw in bulb and without measuring is probably about 6-8 inches in diameter.

A good purchase, does the job just fine. Came dented, considering I paid £22 for it I wasn’t too pleased but it doesn’t effect the functioning and can’t really see it on the item. Works well with the bulb I ordered.
