Can this detect the EMF from equipment like welders and high voltage spray equipment?

Hello, This meter will detect AC/DC magnetic fields with a range of 0~3000mT(milli Tasla)/0~30000G(Gauss). This unit only measures magnetism.

Can this be used to measure surrounding fields that ca cause problems for medical equipment like pacemakers and EMF noise sensitive equipment?

Hello, This meter will detect AC/DC magnetic fields and has a frequency range of 40-500Hz.

How long is the probe?

Hello, the probe is 5cm. I hope that answers your question.

What should i do if the meter reads "ol" when i turn it on? i've already tried reconnecting the probe, but the problem persits.

Hello Philip, Thanks for your question. Depending on how long you have the meter, it could be that the manual record log is full. You will have to press the SET button 8 times to get to the mode for clearing the data. You will need to press AC/DC or Min MAX to select N for (NO). The press set and CLEAR should be displayed to indicate that the manual record has been cleared. Hopefully that helps. Regards, EMR Shielding Solutions Inc.
