strong, well laced, easy to install tubeless tires.

I bought this wheelset to update my 1996 Santa Cruz Heckler. I installed a 27.5" tire compatible fork and wanted hydraulic brake capable rims. I purchased a 27.5 tubeless rim for the front and a 26" tubeless rim for the rear creating a "Mullet" style bike. I converted the rear to accept hydraulic brakes. The rims work great! I have put on a lot of hard downhill miles since the conversion, and I have yet to pop the tires from the rim and, with the benefit of tubeless, I have no more fear of the dreaded thistle or goat heads which plague my part of the world! For the price I recommend this rim set for the budget minded. It's strong, the hubs roll well, and the weight was reasonable for the price.
